EA doesn't want to make single player games anymore because it's harder to sucker gamers into buying micro-transactions and loot boxes in them.
I guess Sony and Nintendo are dying since they make some of the best single player games in the business. It's not like they've put out high scoring single player games that sold well this year...oh wait...they did. These fools saying single player games are dying because EA's greedy asses only want to make games with multiplayer and loot boxes doesn't mean shit.
Why can't the dumbasses on this site get it through their heads that handhelds are consoles. Handheld is short for handheld video game console. And you have to be the dumbest person alive to think Nintendo - a company that only makes games - somehow left the console business when they have 3 consoles out right now. Also the tech in the Switch is more advanced and newer than what's in the ps4 and xbox. Power != Advanced tech.

In regards to your second comment, you are wrong. Monolith Soft is first party Nintendo and they share a building with other Nintendo studios. Also they worked on BOTW with EPD. Actually they help with a lot of Nintendo games. Nintendo owns 96% of Monolith Soft and the other 4% is owned by the founder of the Studio.

A game like To The Moon is more mature than any mature rated game out there. I think the obsession with mature rated games really shows the immaturity of gamers.

The Switch will most likely be 1st with the ps4 coming in second. The biggest problem the x is going to have is, you can buy a Switch and ps4 for close to the price of the x. The Switch will most likely get all the attention since it's the hottest item on the market right now and it has a new Mario game coming out.
It's like they haven't been paying attention to anything that has been released this year. Almost all of the goty contenders are great single player games that all sold well and are popular. EA says some dumb shit and everyone jumps on the dumbass bandwagon.
