He should let EPIC make money off of his dance without his permission and without paying him because he's worth $7 million? Really? EPIC is worth way more and are making way more off of his dance GTFO with that bullshit. If another company makes a carbon copy of fortnite and tried to sell it EPIC would sue the shit out of them.

The reason this became a problem is gamers and gaming media don't understand the information technology they follow/cover. All Iaas(infrastructure as a service) enterprise services have a data retention policy built in. Amazon AWS (the service Nintendo and Sony use for their cloud save storage) has a 3 to 6 month data retention policy. It's very easy to find this information and is available with a simple Google search.
Sony does the same thing don't they? I think after six months they delete your cloud saved if you don't subscribe again.
Shipped is technically sold for the console makers, but it's not the same as sold through, which takes longer to track since they have to receive the info from various retailers. If you didn't know the retailers that sell consoles buy them from the console makers at a wholesale price and make their money after they sell the consoles through to the customer.
There's also the rumor of a Fort Nite port being revealed at e3 and that would also move switch units.
If Pokemon comes out, the Switch is going to be impossible to find at the end of the year.
Having the console be a hybrid has done great things for the software sales. Always having access to your games where ever you are makes it easier to buy games on a whim. It's great for the smaller indie titles too.

All of that dumb shit is toxic. Notice it says the toxic gaming community. That means all platforms, not just certain ones. There's Nintendo fans that are reacting to this in a toxic way too.
They are so caught up in the bullshit that they forget we're all still playing with toys.
A lot of them have stunted growth and still act like whinny children. Many of them haven't developed the maturity and social skills needed to be a functioning adult. They still have the obsession with being looked at as "mature" or "cool" the way everyone did when they were children.
It would be great if down the line Nintendo made a Labo with software that you have to code yourself using Python or Ruby.

A lot of schools are investing in tablets and other methods to educate kids. I don't think they'll do it for classes in general, but I can see them doing that for a after school maker program.
Nintendo announced they are releasing the patterns online for free, so you can.
A Minecraft Labo collab would make a killing.
Nothing, that's why Nintendo is giving the patterns away for free on the internet for the people that are into the maker scene and want to make it themselves.
He's most likely not a gamer and if fortnite never reached the mainstream he probably would've never known
