It won't. First of all, I doubt Sony is gonna let that huge system seller go this easily.
Second of all, it won't come to Xbox One because this is likely not releasing on PS4 either. This will likely be a PS5 title at this point.
There is nothing in this trailer that would need the power of the cloud like they claim. The destruction they showed isn't really impressive and was already possible on vanilla ps4 and xbox one.
No, Xbox is too small of a brand to dominate ever. Playstation will dominate again next gen.
I hope they remake Soul Sacrifice Delta and Freedom Wars for PS4. It's the only 2 games on Vita that I am missing that haven't been ported yet.
@Sgt_Slaughter
Easily attainable? Not it's not. In fact, it's impossible for them to reach it. We don't underestimate the system, we're just being realistic. It lost a lot of traction since it's first year. In fact, if it's anything, you're the one overestimating it.
I predict they will sell 10 millions units in the next 6 months at most, which will still make it several millions shy of 20 millions (and that's with holiday ...
Except this is a demo you paid nothing for. You do not own it at all and you have no legal right to it, they could push a patch to remove it if they wanted and no one would be able to sue them.
Updates are never sent in waves, ever. The time they're released can differ between different regions, but that's it.
Also, this has been proven fake already. However, even if it wasn't, it's a demo, not an actual game. You didn't pay for it and you have absolutely no right to it at all, so unlike an actual game, they can remove it all they want and no one would be able to take legal action.
It helps that the PS4 exclusives can only be played on PS4, unlike Xbox One, which you can play all exclusives on PC too, thus making the purchase of the console unnecessary for a lot of people.
It's gonna be a repeat of this generation, Sony will dominate again.
The game is only 99 GB digitally. The extra 50GB needed is only to unpack files. You get those 50 GB back once the game is installed. Game once installed is the exact same size physical and digital.
I got it digitally because it took me less time to download it and install it than it would have taken to actually install it from disc.
Not yet for me. Trying to finish AC Odyssey before RDR2 comes out, then I will play that. I will definitely play Spiderman again when more DLCs are out, the game was awesome, but it's too soon after finishing it for me.
Super Mario 3D World is likely gonna happen after New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe.
No it didn't. Fortnite is what played a role. I am pretty sure if Fortnite was not a thing and Bethesda were asking for crossplay, Sony would just laugh and tell them to shove it.
You know a game is exclusive to PS4 when it says "Only on Playstation" on the box, which Spider-Man has.
Sony gives you the ability to do local backup.
First of all, it's not even on PS4 yet. Then you have to consider it's the 20th anniversary next year.
I am pretty sure Star Ocean isn't dead, there will be at least one more game. I wouldn't count wild arms out yet either, because who knows what could happen with it in the future.
You're right about Breath of Fire, but wrong about when it died. Breath of Fire died on PS2 with Dragon Quarter. The game was just not even remotely close to being as good as all previous entries.
@alb1899 the PS5 will not be on the same page as the X, it's gonna be much more powerful. Considering Sony seem to be better at hardware, the PS5 is likely gonna be the most powerful next-gen console again.
Microsoft can claim they won't let Sony have the power advantage all they want, but they have no way to know. It's easy to make this kind of claim when you're releasing a year later, but when both release at the same time, my money is on Sony. They obviou...
Crossplay is not as important as the very vocal minority is trying to make it out to be. Sony could still not allow it next gen with the PS5 and it would literally have no effect on the sales of the PS5, they'd still end up crushing the competition.
@Switch4One
The PS4 doesn't have BC. However, it didn't need to because the Xbox One also didn't have it either. Now the Xbox One does it, but it's not even full BC, it's selective BC.
Next gen, Sony will have to have BC because their only competitor have it (and MS are not really big competition to begin with). You can be sure the PS5 will be at least fully backward compatible with PS4 games (I bet the PS5 will act as a PS4 Pro at the...
