No thanks. The amount of performance you lose is not enough for the very little you gain in visuals.
Maybe they should stop creating new pokemon. We have more than 900 now, it's enough. You can make new games without making new pokemon by just adding new mechanics and going into new regions.
Evolution Studio and Guerilla Cambridge both took at least 10 years to shut down and both had a good amount of games under their belt.
Pretty sure Sony didn't screw up, those 2 studios just underperformed.
Speak for yourself, it doesn't look very good to me. Then again, PlatinumGames games are hit or miss. Bayonetta, Nier Automata are pretty good, but then they have pretty bad games like Anarchy Reign.
It's nice that those ports are being teased. What's sad is that we're likely never gonna see those localized.
The only reason people bought a Switch in Japan is because it's considered a portable console over there. If it was a normal console like the PS4 and Xbox One, most people in Japan wouldn't give a damn about it.
As for the rest of the world, the PS4 was doing much better at the same point in its life. Hell, the Switch is barely keeping up with the PS4 at the same point in its life and that's with including japanese sales.
Switch sales will dr...
The reason the ps4 can't read CDs isn't because of hardware, it's software. The safety manual for the PS4 and PS4 Pro says the laser for CDs is there.
PS3 is likely not happening due to the complexity of its architecture, but PS1 and PS2 games are pretty easy to emulate. PS1 games can be emulated by any smartphones today and PS2 games can be played by any PCs that don't use a crappy intel video card that comes with the motherboard. Hell, some games can run ...
The games for gold were announced for this month and it's just as terrible as PS Plus.
You people seriously need to give up on it, it's never happening.
It's a bad month, but it could be worst, it could be 2 games I already have -_-.
The moment Steam decide to take a lower cut from developers, developers will drop the Epic Store really fast.
It's not happening just like SMT on Playstation is not happening either. Atlus usually stick to one console for the mainline entries because they're not that big of a team. The only multiplatform releases are spinoffs like Persona 5 Scramble.
From Software is already owned by Kadokawa, so they can't be bought. Hell, any japanese studios, regardless of them being owned or not definitely can't be bought. No matter how much money MS offer, those studios would be able to make a lot more by saying no and making games for Sony and Nintendo.
To tell you the truth, if it's not Sonic Adventure 3, I won't bother.
Funny how they said they don't want to make Sonic Adventure 3 because that would be going backward, then they go and make Sonic Mania, which was going further backward.
If their new IP are shovelware like Bleeding Edge, it's not gonna matter. I fully expect them to be because none of the studios they purchased are capable of anything more than that.
You also have to consider that both consoles will be backward compatible with this generation at least. The sales numbers will be the same because almost no one will switch sides because they won't want to lose their library, so the PS5 already won.
If anything, Xbox are gonna sell less because every single one of their games can be played elsewhere, which means some people that had one won't bother next gen. Meanwhile Sony will keep the same numbers.
Is there really new content (beside the dungeon creator)?
Why change something that works? I am glad gyms are back, trials were horrible and should never have been a thing.
If all they're gonna use their new studios for is to create games like Bleeding Edge, I don't think Sony or Nintendo need to worry about anything.
@ThunderGod_Cid Sony weren't responsible for DMC5 censoring, Capcom was. This was fixed in a later patch and the game no longer has that scene censored.
