I am pretty sure if Sony decided to offer Nintendo crossplay, Nintendo would dotch Microsoft instantly. If Sony did that, they could leave Microsoft all alone and seriously hurt them.

The order 1886 still managed to sell almost 2 millions. I am pretty sure Days Gone won't pull big numbers like Horizon or God of War, but it will still sell more than 2 millions easily and that's the worst it could do. I see it selling 4-5 millions in its lifetime.

I am sure pirates are shaking in their boots. They can still update the Switch firmware, they can still update their games (even the pirated ones) and they will eventually be able to install DLCs and updates manually anyway. The only thing they're losing is really the ability to go online and I bet most of them don't care.

You can still update your firmware and your games if you're banned though. Hell, you can even update pirated games.

Being banned means no online game access and no eshop access, which would make it impossible for you to get DLC, but pirates will eventually be able to install updates and DLC manually in the future. So being banned as a pirate really only prevent you from playing online.

The Switch version only runs at 30fps and sometime dips below that and it has all the problems the PC version has (the PC version is apparently a terrible port).

Meanwhile the PS4 version runs at 60fps. The PS4 is objectively the better version.

I am really buying it just for the single player campaign anyway. I did the same for GTA V, never touched multiplayer, but played the main campaign 3 times over the years and will likely play again in the near future.

This site makes predictions like this every month and they are always wrong.

Even if your console get banned, you can still update your games anyway so it doesn't matter. You only lose eshop access and the ability to play online. Some hackers who got their console banned already can update their games still.

@chiefJohn117

The problem is that the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X is that they basically use the same CPU as the PS4 and Xbox One S, but overclocked at little.

The PS5 and next Xbox will not only have a massive GPU upgrade, they will also have a massive CPU upgrade (if the rumor of them using AMD Ryzen is true).

The CPU the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X have are massive bottlenecks.

6 TFLOPS and a crappy CPU is gonna be weak in 2020 when new consoles releases with 10-12 TFLOPS and a Ryzen CPU.

The Xbox One X can't even do 4K properly on every single game. It can do better than PS4 Pro, but it's still not a true 4K machine. Next-gen consoles are gonna actually be true 4K machines.

I think it's exactly what he meant. It happened at the end of the 360's lifespan, it happened with the Xbox One too. Hoping for a different result with the next Xbox is pointless, because it will happen too.

I am pretty sure it's another reason people chose the PS4. They knew exclusives would come for it while they wouldn't for Xbox One.

My new GTX 1080 Ti is ready for it.

The PS5 and next Xbox are likely both coming out at the same time, but everyone was only talking about the PS5 and I think he was jealous.

Days Gone will likely sell at least 2 millions. If the Order 1886 came really close, pretty much anything else Sony make can break 2 millions.

That would be the case if most people cared about playing the better version, but that's only the very small minority. Most people don't care and just get the console they want.

Nintendo dropping price so soon? Yeah, keep dreaming.

They've been building relationships with developers for decades, buying them, letting them do their own things.

Microsoft could easily have done the same thing, they've been in this since 2001, so they really have no excuse.

There really isn't any point in them making consoles anymore. It's only gonna get worst next-gen, they are just redundant at this point.

Multiplatforms can be gotten on all other platforms like PS4, PC and Switch. Microsoft having the most powerful console doesn't matter one bit. Most people don't care about playing it in the best way possible (otherwise PC is where they'd go) and the difference isn't as big as everyone says it is. It will matter eve...

Sure, it will take its toll when the PS5 win next gen again by outselling the next xbox by at least 2:1.

Even if the PS5 were to not allow crossplay and Xbox were to fully allow it, the PS5 would still win. Playstation is so much bigger than Xbox it's not even funny. The 360, which was Microsoft at their best, still got outsold by the PS3, which was Sony at their worst.

So yeah, even if Microsoft does everything right, they just don't stand a chan...

Those games are just a yellow remake with Go mechanics. The main core game that was hinted at E3 2017 is coming in late 2019, they've said so on the main twitter.
