This is not a popular opinion, but I don't like their games. The only game I could get into was Skyrim and that got old fast for me. I could never get into anything related to Fallout.
It also doesn't help that every single one of their games are using a seriously old engine and that they're filled with glitches and bugs.

It's not like ROMs are going away any time soon or ever really. You can still find any ROMs you want just by using google. Nintendo won't be able to shut down every single sites on the Internet that provide ROMs. That's especially true for sites hosted in countries were Nintendo really have no legal options.
During the launch period, no it won't outsell it. Lifetime sales, RDR2 won't do as well as GTA5, but it's easily gonna stomp on CoD BO4.
4K 60fps for all games is definitely never gonna happen. Even if there is a significant CPU upgrade, developers will still prioritize graphics over framerate.
@UltraNova I'd rather have slightly longer load times than having to spend several hundred dollars more for the console. Unless the SSD is small, it's gonna be far too expensive to put in there, but a small SSD isn't gonna cut it because games are too big.
A bigger HDD is a must at this point. 2-4TB at least because 1TB isn't gonna cut it next gen if games are 100GB or more.
Secret of Mana remake doesn't belong on that list.

Mega Man X7 was worst than the others, but not as bad as people make it out to be. THPS5 was the worst in the series, but still doesn't deserve to be on that list.

Except discs are far cheaper to mass produce than a cartridge. Hell, if a successor to the Blu-Ray eventually come out, those discs will be cheaper to produce from the very first day.

No since games you buy physical also install completely to the hard drive. Unless there is a successor to the blu-ray that comes out before next-gen that have significantly faster read speed, it's gonna be the same next-gen.
So it won't matter if you buy it physical or digital, as both version will take the same space on your hard drive. The console just ask for the disc to make sure you own the game.
Usually, Xbox launch with a slightly better lineup (but barely). Then it all goes to hell very soon after and the amount of exclusives they release just drop severly. Meanwhile, Sony's launch lineup isn't stellar, but they keep releasing more and more exclusives as we advance into the generation and they eventually just bury Microsoft.
The PS4 will eventually pass the Wii and the PS1. Will possibly also outsell the Gameboy. I don't think it will reach the DS or the PS2.

It's not unusual, Sony doesn't usually release games during the holidays because they know there is too much competition.
I just got a GTX 1070 Ti since I am still on a 1080p monitor and I am not planning to replace that until it dies, so I am good for another few years. By the time I have to change the monitor and video card, the RTX 2080 ti will be obsolete and I will change everything else as well.
