Every game should NOT be co-op. If a game is extremely heavy in atmosphere and/or is narrative driven and story is a major part of the experience and it is designed as a single player experience in mind, it can not work as a co-op game. Otherwise, it will be shoehorned in and won't work or will break illusion. Resistance 1 and 3 had full campaign co-op, but the second player controlled some character that would always disappear in cinematics and other characters didn't acknowledge bec...
I don't know about Xbox one, but the ps4 does have 4k output for pictures and videos
I'm pretty sure that there was no arcade version of this game, so I don't know what you are talking about
I guarantee 90% of the multiplatform Xbox one games you have are better on ps4 because most multiplatform games this gen have been better on ps4.
Bioshock 2's multiplayer actually wasn't that bad. It's just not amazing. And Bioshock 2 as a game overall was still good and the Minerva's Den DLC was one of the better single player add-ons I've played for a game. You just judged a good game for a dumb reason.
Back in the day, fighter had both fluid animation and were visually impressive. In the past, Dead or Alive, Soul Calibur, and even Tekken have pushed visual boundaries while also having good animations. The character models in Dead or Alive 5 are exemplary for a last gen console. Some of the best there are and it also has some of the best and most fluid animations in the genre. Fighting games don't need to render much in terms of AI and environments and blah blah blah. Fighting games this...
I was really excited to see how beautiful fighting games could look this generation because it's a fighting game. It only renders 2 characters on screen at once most of the time and it's all in an enclosed stage/area. They could make them look so detailed and beautiful with current console hardware, but instead, all these next gen fighting games look like absolute trash visually. It's far from the generational leap I expected from a genre tha could have benefited so much from the ...
I immediately noticed when playing the demo on ps4 that the framerate was far from stable. I found it playable. It was definitely playable, but not smooth at all. I noticed the lack of a 30 fps lock within a minute and yet my friend told me he didn't notice it and said there was something wrong with my copy. And now this analysis proves it. The game is never running at a consistent framerate, always running back and forth, going as low as 20 and reaching a high of 31 for a whole split se...
The PC version won't even use the soft engine that the current gen versions use. It'll literally be a straight port of the last gen console versions.
It's been a year and a half since the launch of the new consoles. Last gen is dangerously approaching 10 years old. Hell, the Xbox 360 is already 10 years old and the ps3 will get there in the later half f this year. They had a good run. We got some great games, but they're ancient hardware. If you play video games on more than just a casual basis and have a vested interest in new releases, it's time to upgrade. These last gen owners are holding back current gen and PC. Last gen w...
Watch Dogs was already delayed by quite a few months and that still didn't wok in its favor
Finally someone that gets it and isn't an idiot
This is THE FIRST post I have ever seen about ANY glitches in the game so I highly doubt it is full of glitches. I platinumed the game and encountered no glitches
*sigh*
The definitive edition on consoles actually made improvements over the PC version. They used Tress FX 2.0 which is much more realistic than the finicky original implementation of it on PC where the strands of hair had goddamn minds of their own and families. It looked really weird and was overly exaggerated. They also completely redid Lara's face so it looks more human and much more in line with how she looks in the opening cinematic. They also added subsurface scattering. So no. It is mu...
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition was certainly not cheap.
Lei Fang is like the ugliest. Quit smoking
This game is great. Best purchase I've made on a ps4 game to date.
Wait....it shows satire at the end after the quote now and I do not remember seeing that when it was first posted...could it be because of negative backlash?
Umm no. In something like The Last of Us where part of what made the game so good was the interactions between the characters and the environment, co-op would kill it. I grew attached to Ellie because as I was playing, she would point to something or grab an object or sit down after getting into an argument with Joel, etc...her entire posture and mannerisms would change.....that kind of shit would be impossible to get across in co-op. It would absolutely negate part of what makes The Last of ...
