They didn't say it sold 5 million. They said it SHIPPED 5 million
Super sampling doesn't soften the image...it makes it sharper...
No they didn't. It's all the same assets at native 4K and with HDR, but I have to say that the native 4K resolution does make some of the textures appear significantly sharper than the standard ps4. Of course the game started life as a PS3 title so not all textures appear as sharp in native 4K as others, but by and large, last of us looks amazing on the pro
Neither of those have pro enhancements so it doesn't apply to this article's topic at all
You like copy/paste mission types throughout the entire game to fill out the open world? There's nothing wrong with open world. It has the potential to be special, but most developers squander that potential with laziness by creating lifeless open worlds and filling out the map and content with uninspired mission types that you repeat over and over for dozens of hours
Because it's physical. Only 7,300 copies available worldwide and only 4,800 sold in this first batch. It's clearly a collector's item. I got it and I'm excited as I haven't played the game yet
There's nothing wrong with walking simulators, though???
A game is a game and I like a good game regardless of genre. I loved Everybody's Gone To The Rapture and that's a walking simulator.
I too was able to get a copy of Firewatch before it sold out
SJW reviewer. Don't bother. Mentions how he refuses to play DOA despite how mechanically and fundamentally solid Doa last round is just because of the women and the titties and the jiggle. Also complains about the jiggle in this game. Don't bother wasting your time reading this trash "review"
They're using unreal engine 4....
Why is someone reviewing a free to play game???
Naughty Dog has transitioned into a "mature" studio. They're too "mature" for cartoony games like that with the people they have working there now at the ages they're at. The Naughty Dog of old is not the same Naughty Dog now, which is why there has been such a dramatic tonal shift in the kinds of games they make.
It's doom. It's not about the story. It's a purely gameplay driven franchise
Foxtrot clearly doesn't understand subtle writing and endings if he thinks the last of us ending requires a sequel. It's one of those ambiguous endings that leaves you thinking and leaves possible later events up to interpretation. It took serious restraint for a triple A game from a triple A studio to end in such a way and that's what makes the ending so perfect. It's subtle and intelligent. Not everything needs a 100% every single thing is 100% spelled out for you. Use your ...
Sucks for you. I love playing online and offline. Different kinds of experiences for different moods. It's unfortunate that you limit yourself so much to what you play
I prefer having a standalone just wave based survival with changing objectives being a separate survival mode. Sometimes I'm just in the mood to turn my brain off and kill crap to kill time. It's why I didn't like uncharted 3's survival as much as 2's. The shifting objectives were the ONLY way to play survival
This does NOT look identical to the game at all. It uses the same art style and closely matches the intended look of the game and its artwork, but the trailer has much much better visuals than the actual game does. The environment especially is a generation more realistic than what we have in-game now. I don't know how you can think this looks the same as the game.
I go out of my way to buy random games I otherwise wouldn't just to give them a chance and more often than not, I end up getting games I like. Not every game is "omg masterpiece", but there are way more quality games out there than you think that are worth your time unless you're narrow minded
