Yes. I know the upcoming BF1 will be able to do 1080p with super sampling and better assets, but BF 1 being in a different era will not make BF 4 obsolete. I'll still want to play BF 4 and I want that 900p resolution to go.
I also hope the Uncharted 4 multiplayer will get the resolution boost as well and hopefully some better textures and effects in multiplayer
But it's balanced out because it only works at a specified distance and if a person is completely still, you won't be able to see them. You also can't use listen mode infinitely. It has to recharge. It's actually balanced really well. It's a tactical tool that helps aid you in combat without being overpowered because of all the things I mentioned on top of it being a skill EVERY player has access to
All 3 games are good. The quality varies and some are good for different reasons, but none of them are bad games at all.
"Quality 3D graphics"
That looks doable on a 3ds. What is this "quality 3D" they speak of
No. I want FF15 on pro now. Not next year
I think a pro vita could work better than it will for ps4 pro because you tend to have handheld generations last longer and vita with its hardware now still has some of the best looking handheld games ever like Killzone Mercenary. 3 year old game that still looks amazing for a handheld game. It's remarkable.
The main reason I'd want a vita pro is mainly for resolution. Improve the specs enough that every game can run native resolution because the vita has a great sc...
Not even the same.
Xbox One Slim does a basic upscaling from whatever the Xbox One's native resolution is. All these intensive games are going to render at twice the resolution of 1080p and then use a special algorithm called checkerboard whatever(I'm not the most tech savvy person in the world) to get to 4K. That special method of "upscaling" produces better results than standard upscaling. On top of that, the games are still going to run at twice the re...
You got good stuff with your PS3 and Xbox 360. When the new consoles came out, did you buy the cross-generation titles on PS3/360 instead of ps4/Xbox one since they were just prettier versions of the same games
I've gamed on a 50 inch tv for the past few years. Anything smaller feels too small for me.
Finally a comparison. I've been waiting since the announcement to see how good it looks on vita in comparison to decide which version to get
But there will be benefits for people without 4K tv's. As has been stated and confirmed with For Honor and Rise of The Tomb Raider you will have either the same exact standard ps4 assets at 4K OR you can have 1080p with the extra horsepower being used to render extra graphical effects and whatnot. Better assets. I don't know about you, but that sounds incredibly enticing to me over just a resolution bump with all the same textures and models and effects.
There's...
It seems like the single player is what got the real huge upgrade and the multiplayer seems to have SOME improved assets and textures, but it's mostly just a difference in lighting(much brighter and less contrast between light and dark areas.)
That's not saying much considering how bad the boss fights in all the games are
I never finished FF 13 and never played the rest of the series so I'm indifferent to it. Nice job constantly having some crap to say about everyone and everything on N4G like you're known for though!!!
I mean if it's something that means anything to them, why does it matter? Maybe it's not necessarily tied to the game's quality. Maybe someone doesn't really like a game much, but loves the art/character design of something and think it would look good as a tattoo. Maybe there's some ulterior reason behind the tattoo. Perhaps they have memories tied to said game.
Maybe a family member that passed or significant other loved that game and they want that t...
And you are part of the problem. Sure, you can still acknowledge a game's quality while pointing out corporate greed from a publisher that doesn't know how to leave art alone. Hell, Jim Sterling himself thinks it's a great game, but that doesn't stop him from talking crap about the way the publisher handled the game's release and the introduction of free to play elements in a franchise as sacred as Deus Ex
One of the best fps's of all time getting a 20th anniversary release with new levels from the original team is proof of no creativity? Really? You want proof of little creativity, go look at the stock Ubisoft open world formula
YES
I hope the 3ds version gets a physical release
Not really. That actually seems like a pretty appropriate length for a proper triple A stealth game with open ended level design instead of linear level design.
