HELL NO. Why not associate the "game activation" to the new "human bar code system". This way ONLY the original purchaser can play it and would do away with used game sales as well. Sound like a stretch? According to this article what I just mentioned could be viewed as the next "logical" progression.

awesome. I never pondered the possibilities of the non tech/video game industry in Home. Very very cool! Home is truly shaping up to be the next big thing in social networking.

The good news is that it is exclusive to the 360 in NA! Can't imagine why THQ is closing down five of its' studios this year, Sandblast the studio that made this turd, being one of them.

Will be nice to have a diabloesque game on a console. I am actually looking forward to this one.

I disagreed only because they are not SE. Granted Lost Odyssey is a good RPG but it is NOT from SE. To date all SE has released to the HD market, read only 360 so far, has been junk. They really need to step up to the plate. Especially with the likes of Level 5, Mistwalker and Sega have thrown their hats into the ring and have shown they can make a better RPG than SE this gen. Makes you wonder what SE is doing or for that matter what they stopped doing to cause this.

Whining? LOL! I am merely pointing out that SE has failed miserably to date to deliver anything worth a damned on the 360. Not to mention that as for RPGs I am quite content with Folklore and Valkyria Chronicles. FFXIII and Versus are SE's big guns right now and I truly hope they deliver across the board with these. Otherwise I am afraid that SE will become just another shovelware company.

Nice to see OOo get some recogntion. I have been using it exclusively at home and work for years without any problems.

But then again ADHD reigns supreme most times. Most folks have no vision or for that matter attention spans and live for the moment. It is an unfortunate truth that folks want INSTANT gratification and with the 360 they get it. The downside is that their gratification is short lived due to hardware failure, lack of first party exclusives, EOL in favor of a new console design, etc... The way I see it is simple if they are willing to throw good money after bad on a known defective product f...

As can be seen by the incredible take up of Infinite Undiscovery and The Last Remnant AND the overall 74% drop in sales! Nothing quite like watching your sales slump due to shovelware to solidify this statement. These guys have become a joke as of late. I don't care that they release on multiple consoles but at least release something GOOD. FFS they have been batting ZERO so far on the HD consoles with 2 flops for the 360 and nothing even released yet on the PS3. You would think that wou...

LOL, no? Well seeing that as of right now you still need a PC to queue up your Netflix account to be able to view it on the 360 is a failure. That and the fact that you must also view it through a HDMI equipped XBox, which most folks DON'T have, and through a HDCP capable device, aka HDTV means Netflix is nothing more than a novelty atm. Whereas on a PS3 you can purchase and view the movie right from the console. IF (BIG IF) Sony were to partner up with Blockbuster AND go to a subscriptio...

Sony and Nintendo give you the option of updating. MS forces whatever update it sees fit down your throat because "MS knows best". Now think for a minute if the update that automagically happens on your 360 bricks it because it doesn't prompt you or give you the option? Whereas on the PS3 I can remember when there was some problem with the 2.40 update, people held off and updated when 2.5x came out. I see it as a safety measure and a courtesy rather than an inconvenience.

All consoles this gen. are doing quite well. Kudos to MS for the price cut to boost sales and regain some of the ground it lost to the PS3. As for the PS3 it is still selling very well with strong YoY gains with its $399 price tag. Next year will definately be interesting to say the least. MS really hasn't any big titles coming in 2009, Halo:Recon and that Ninja game. Sony has already confirmed GoW3, Killzone 2, GT5, Heavy Rain and Infamous. Not to mention the spread of thrid party game...

What is it? ;)

Seriously though myself as well as most of my family and friends have been using FF for years. It is faster, more stable and more secure than IE.

Great news for everyone. MS definatley had a great showing, 500k sold, with the arcade accounting for approx. half of the sales according to the article. The Wii well hell... it's the Wii, enough said. The PS3 with nice YoY growth and selling 225k units on early numbers. What's more mind boggling though is the PS2 with sales being reported at 175k and the PSP with 275k! In any case when the numbers are tallied and finalized all the consoles showed nice sales weekly and YoY.

I read the article asshat and regardless they still said Farcry 2 should be a nominee.

Believe it or not I am actually looking forward to this. Game is pretty good and very diablo-esque. Would be nice to play this on my HD set vs. my PC and 19 incher.

Here's hoping there is sarcasm in those picks otherwise all I can say is WTF?! I can name 5 games that are leaps and bounds above FC2 and in no particular order.

MGS4
Fallout 3
LBP
Gears 2
R2

Shinji you are so right on with that statement. I wonder if he caught the report that shows overall sales DOWN 74%? Hmmm must be that exposure that the XBox 360 brought to them. Freakin' hammerhead. Plain and simple and numbers don't lie. Ignore you're most rabid fanbase, Playstaion owners, and you reap your rewards in plummeting sales.

Has incredible potential. Especially with crafted areas for specific games, Uncharted being the example right now. Also with the theatre they could release footage and trailers for games exclusive to Home users. Lastly, even beyond the social aspect is the integration of the PS Store into home. Think going into a virtual video game store and hitting up the shelves looking for a new game. Then download and install through Home as opposed to the PS Store. So much can be done with this med...

rocks! I love Spec-OPs and while the hardest to level up is arguably the most destructive of them all. Nothing quite like cloaking and proximity mines to ruin a Chimera's day. Oooh and the Marksman + Electrostatic orb = pwnage.
