Seeing that yes MS does hold things close there really isn't much that isn't known about. Unless MS has some super secret title that hasn't even been hinted there is: Alan Wake, Star Ocean, Halo RTS, Halo:Recon, Ninja Blade and that's the long list. Granted there may be more but seeing that MS is lacking in first party studios and there hasn't been any big third party exclusivity announcements, I don't see much more coming in terms of exclusives to the 360.
is cool. Need more Sega goodness.
That's ONLY five exclusives. There is still Heavy Rain, WKC (yeah I know Dec 25, 2008 but that's only Japan), Quantum Theory, Demons Souls, Insomniac and Naughty Dog exclusives in 2009 as well. The PS3 does truly have a stellar lineup of exclusives throughout 2009 and from the looks of it possibly even 2010 depending on titles like War Devil, FFXIII Versus, Rock Star stated exclusive, etc...
Even though the Wii may have a shorter lifespan it is still making Nintendo buckets of cash. The Wii is really nothing more than a Gamecube w/ different controllers and wifi. Third party games, for the most part, just plain suck on it because of all the shovelware. Now on the flipside Nintendo is making a mint on its' first party stuff. So in combination with what is essentially a repackaged Gamecube, Nintendo is undoubtedly making money on every sale PLUS the HUGE adoption rate of first ...
It was inevitable. First the Blu-Ray sales up 300% and The Dark Knight selling some ungodly amount on Blu-Ray. Now the Blu-Ray is bad/worst tech of 2008 opinion piece. This site never ceases to amaze me, ever.
I don't see anything coming of if it is only 1% of machines scratching discs. Now the question is is it really just 1%. I ask only because world+dog knows that the RRoD was in the area of 33% yet MS only claimed only 3% - 5%.
to make it good would be to not make it. Come on, seriously, a game about swimming? There is absolutely nothing good that can come of this at all.
I will be able to pick up the new MK vs. DC on the cheap in a month or so. Not that the game looks fantastic but I so dig the Joker and well... watching him kill off everybody would be just too cool to pass up for under $20.
I just can't wait until all the spaces and all the features from the "regional" Homes come to all Homes. Granted each should have its' own flavor as far as the overall design of the theatre, bowling alley, mall, etc.. but the custom areas etc.. should be made available globally.
Do realize that PS Home is instanced, right? Do they honestly think that everyone that logs into Home goes to the same damned place? Wow and this is from G4, TV for Gamers? One would think that prior to calling yourself a gamer, for that matter being on a TV show on a network for gamers, you would know how the backend servers handle the load given them. Wow... just, wow.....
He basically shut up the whole "SCE is scaling back", "oooh NOOOO!!! Sony is giving up on the PS3" and all the other crap opinion articles coming out. Straight up from the Pres. of SCEE, no they aren't scaling back at all. Most of their employees are developing games and that is considered an investment NOT a liability.
Right from the horses mouth.. more ads coming! Software sells hardware and the PS3 has and will have the software throughout 2009.
That is the best analogy/relation to real life as I have seen.
Will undoubtedly include the PS4 but not for some time to come. As has been seen by upcoming titles like Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, GT5 and God of War 3 the console has a VERY long life ahead of it. Developers are only starting to really tap the potential of this console and more is yet to come with new coding methods and optimizations. Add the ability of a near future proof optical drive with already confirmed 400 gigabytes on a single disc and the expandability of the hard drive to whateve...
People say the SDF is bad. When someone points out reported software sales show how a console with a "supposed" 1 million lead is selling less software people go nuts. There is no spin or conspiracy theory, just speculation that the numbers somewhere are off. It stands to reason if console A has 1 million more than console B it should sell more software on a weekly basis. YET according to all of the European charts over the past month this doesn't hold true at all.

All guns are locked in a safe, with trigger and/or bolt locks. The only keys reside with me, my father, my wife and one in a safety deposit box. As for getting mad, yeah they do, but they don't resort to violence. IF it something serious they come and talk to myself, my wife or whomever is supervising them at the moment to diffuse the problem. If it is who gets to watch what cartoon on what channel or something trivial they work it out between themselves. I am tired of the media, lawyers...
I am not saying that GFK is corrupt. I am speculating that the 1 million units don't add up especially with the software sales seen throughout Europe over the past 4 weeks. In general over the course of the past 4 weeks the PS3 has been seeing much better overall software sales than the XBox 360. One would think that if a unit has 1 million more installed that the numbers would show otherwise.
As a parent I decide on what, when and how long my children can play video games. Both of my boys ages 8 and 9 play everything from Super Mario Galaxy to COD 4/5 and even a bit of GTA IV every now and then. The thing is they know what a gun does as well as I have taught them how to shoot, like my father before me, at age 6. They know guns are dangerous, they know not to touch them unless I am there. They know that cars aren't toys to drive down sidewalks either.
It is up to t...
IF the XBox 360 does have a 1 million console lead in Europe than why has it not placed a single title in the top 10 sales this week in the UK, France, Italy and Spain? Me thinks there may be some pencil whipping going on on MS part to stir up FUD and make itself look better than it really is.
LOL. Disagreeing with regional sales charts? Now that there is funny especially if the inverse were true. I am merely asking the question and backing it up with the reported sales stat...
I can see most of those except the Rare games. Two in one year isn't going to happen especially after their last outing with Banjo unless they have been in the making for a while and no one knows about them.
