😄😄
I'm still rocking a 1080Ti, so it's time...at least for me.
Hopefully it was shut down due to them already having an enhancement of their own in development.

Yes. Here's the breakdown...

"Unfortunately there are going to be developers that will not give you the free upgrades, I would say the usual suspects, EA and Activision,..."
...And 2K Sports. Not only are they not offering free next-gen upgrades of NBA 2K21, but they are charging $70 for the standalone next gen version of the game, or $100 for the cross-gen version. So essentially they are charging $40 more than the base game for a next-gen upgrade.

@Clover904
Really? What's the model number now?
I'm still rocking the old BGW210-700.
Launch PS3's didn't have emulation, but rather the actual hardware that allowed BC - the Emotion Engine of the PS2 if I can recall correctly. But you're correct that launch consoles typically come with more bells and whistles than their scaled-back cheaper revisions. I still own both the OG PS3 and PS2 (which extended the ability to add an HDD).
@Bladesfist
Same here. I have X-Plane 11 and two modules in DCS World (AC-10 and F18). This will be a welcomed addition.
^^This, a million times over.
I work full time along with several other chores in the evening, and conduct a personal life. Despite all that, you'll NEVER see me complaining about a game being too lengthy. It's not imperative for me to finish a game in one or two sittings. And you're absolutely right. If it's not enough that the industry is already robbing the consumer with antics of cutting content and selling it back in the form of DLC, now consumers are helping the...
This was one of the lone highlights of the Showcase for me. I hope MS releases this on Steam, too.
Oh, man. Layla Kayleigh and that accent..🤪🤪
I could watch and listen to her for days.
"I'd rather a 100% new IP. Make an RPG. Do it."
This.
I said this not long ago...

Now THIS would probably sway me towards getting an Index. There have been a few games that I'd been monitoring, HL Alex and Boneworks among them, where I'd been flirting with finally jumping on the VR train, but felt that those weren't compelling enough to justify the investment. GE64 is among my favorite of all time, and would be great to see using modern day technology.
@Phoenix
I would love to see them perfect what Alpha Protocol couldn't. ND are among the cream of the crop when it comes to action games. To integrate what they're already good at with a modern world rpg would be fantastic imo.
"Things 2 generations and earlier I can see having a Remaster."
fixed ;-)
But seriously, I totally agree with everything you've stated.
And "2K" aren't the owners of GTA either. 2K Sports are the publishers of the NBA games. Rockstar Games publish the GTA series. Both brands are subsidiaries of Take Two.
But on topic...yes, this is ridiculous when other publishers seem to be making their games cross-generational at no extra charge.
There are various takes on several top 10 lists on a weekly basis. So what's so different about this?
TF2 is a surprisingly great game. I got it along with BF1 on a $5 download code sale from Amazon last year. Wish I was able to transfer it to my Steam account.
^^This...wholeheartedly.
