^^This.
Personally, I've always preferred realistic/sim styled games as I've gotten older, but also acknowledged there is still a crop of action arcade style games out for the masses. If there's one thing that utterly disurbs me is when there's a campaign for the style of a particular game to cater to what it's not. If you don't like realistic/sim games, there are more than plenty of alternatives to choose from without games being a "detriment" to on...
@Guilty
I was wondering the same thing. The instant reactions I'm seeing in these comments, to me, are very telling.
Good call on Fight Night. I still play Champions from time to time.
"And i want that on a vr headset that will make [me] feel like im in total recall. And i want it to be super light nanocarbon material weaved with graphene engineered spider silk so i dont feel any weight on my face while wearing it."
Comment of the day.
Or GOW 2 for that matter.
^^This...a million times over. Competition is strongly needed in the big three major sports...ESPECIALLY football. I still fire up NFL 2K5 to this day, and haven't purchased a Madden since Madden 2006.
I don't own a Switch, but I must say, this game looks impressive.
This is good news. The soundtrack to the Streets of Rage series is just as commendable as the gameplay itself. It would've totally done this sequel a disservice if Koshiro and Kawashima weren't on board.
Sign me up! I absolutely LOVED Shadow Tactics. And I'm seeing this as being a more advanced and evolved version of that same gameplay.
"The developers at 2K Sports have packed in several new features, from increased ball physics to better animations."
How many more years must we here this line regurgitated before it actually becomes true?
As did I. It was a little rough around the edges considering the developer's ambitions and the limitations of the hardware at the time. But still made for a worthwhile experience...especially the Smith clones fight at the park scene from the second movie.
@wwinterj
Totally agree. I'm predominantly a single player and have only subscribed to PS+ once...right at the time they introduced cloud saves, I bought a single year's subscription for the sole purpose of backing up my Demon Souls save file at the time. Haven't had a subscription since.
Haven't heard anything about this company in years. Would be nice to see a remake of The Legend of Kage. Have great childhood memories of that game.
@BLizardXD
The survey they issued from Fangamer explicitly gave the choice of either a PS4 copy or Steam code. I still have my confirmation email that shows this.
@Pickledpepper
"I'll dust off my dreamcast and see if I can pick them up on eBay."
If you have a current gen console or PC, the first two games have recently been re-released as a bundle.
4 games of God a war/ horizon zero dawn standard per year would also produce a never-ending backlog. No need to oversaturate as long as the flow of quality titles remain consistent.
And NBA 2K has been the worst offender with it's VC nonsense.
What Remains of Edith Finch...good call.
Sleeping Dogs was criminally underrated during it's time. I actually preferred it's more melee focused approach than it's other open world contemporaries. A sequel is definitely in order if outsourced to a developer who will do it justice.
+1
