Agreed. I remember working at Circuit City at the time and we opened an hour early for launch of the PS2. I think we had a shipment of about 50 consoles come in. They were all wiped out within 10 seconds of us opening the door.
I was finally lucky enough to bag a PS5 two weeks ago after countless failed attempts since launch last year.

I would kill to see Remedy (Control) develop a remake of Path of Neo. If ever there was a case for a game being remade, PoN couldn't be more deserving. Well, that and maybe the original Metal Gear 1 & 2.
Have to say, this was one of the very few times I fully agree with a "best/worst" list. The top 3 are definitely my top 3...in that order, no less.
Even though it's technically not their IP, I would love to see a remake of The Matrix: Path of Neo. Have them outsource it to Remedy.

Exactly! SF2, Strider (Genesis), Resident Evil 2 (N64), and the like were all isolated cases of price increase for the reason you mentioned, and it amuses me when people use that as if it was standard practice across the board.

The problem is Madden has been broken for over two gaming generations now. And the only fix is open competition with the NFL license.

Neither of the major manufacturers were prepared for this. I'm having just as hard a time trying to get a hold of an RTX 3080 as I am a PS5.
The problem is that they are actually NOT all collecting dust in a scalper's basement. Which is why we are all aggravated by this.
