"...they just want the nontangable stuff and happily hand their money over with out realizing the real cost to the rest of the gaming public."
A sad and unfortunate truth.
Exactly. Reflecting back on the quality of the facial animation and "detective" mechanics done in Until Dawn, SuperMassive Games IMO would be a good fill-in dev for a sequel. I think they could do a good job with the IP.

Well said, Repjaws.

"but sooner or later you just gotta face the facts and let the big corporations continue to screw you."
I would quit gaming altogether before I let anything remotely like that come CLOSE to happening. I've never supported exploitative extra funding for gaming and seriously doubt that I ever will. I'm far too intelligent to allow something like that to happen.
@TGG
Yes, I think that was on the Sega Master System. My friend had that game back in the day. Fun game.
@G-haul
I can't believe I'm seeing this. It's a sad state of affairs in the world we live in today. SMDH!

Lol! Mildly entertaining, indeed.
Update: They just reinstated the 3/10 score.

I usually wince at reviews with agendas, but here, a statement needs to be made. The monetization of the culture has gone too far.
I REALLY liked LA Noire on the PS3, but I'm not one to double dip no matter how much I may like a game. I'm hoping this is a sign that a follow-up may be in the works. I really hate that Whore of the Orient got canned.

Nice to see Nick Grant getting some exposure. Criminally underrated.
Hopefully whatever this may be will lead to a new game in the potential series. It was disappointing to see that Whore of the Orient got canned.
"It’s not all bad new for fans though, because there is a new animated TV series based on the original Generation 1 series and toyline coming too."
I'd never heard of that. Would be interesting to see, tho.
Even though I own and love The Show, I would sure hope that we see another competitive MLB game. Competition is always welcome.
On another note, I am far more interested in knowing if we'll ever see another NFL game other than Madden.
It is. And Kyle bowed out like it was nobody's business.
I always felt that MGS had one of the best openings ever during its time. Nearly 20 years later, I have yet to experience an opening sequence as impactful.
I will semi-forgive them when they forgo the NFL license exclusivity again.
