This.
And the SNES games of the original movie trilogy were good too.
I still own the PS2 game. It was a little rough around the edges, but I still enjoyed it.
@Sono
These Sekiro difficulty articles have become the battle royal games of journalism.
Lol. Fitting Biggie reference...at least for me.
Really look forward to seeing how this turns out.
Download code's not working.
Wouldn't matter anyway. The "redeem code" turned out to be bogus. Doesn't seem to be working for anyone at the moment.
My personal top 5:
Contra 3: Alien Wars
Metal Gear Solid 1
Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence
TMNT 2: The Arcade Game
Batman Returns (SNES)
Honorable Mention:
Super C
Mission Impossible (NES)
Super Castlevania IV
Wow.
Samurai Shodown, Sekiro, Ghost of Tsushima, and Nioh 2?...I'm feeling like a kid in a Samurai candy store.
@trauma
I agree with your post here. I think the problem is over the last two generations of gaming, stagnation has set in due to most of the titles being dominated by a single entity in there respective genres (i.e. MLB The Show/MLB; NBA 2K/NBA; Madden/NFL; etc.). Basically, a lack of competition.
In response to your earlier post, in all honesty and fairness, I did try the timed demos that EA put out for Madden from time to time, but I just can't get past the ...
@ben
I just hope that the NFL would open up the license to all again. I haven't touched a Madden game since Madden 06. I still play NFL 2K5 on my ole PS2 phatty to this day.
Actually I'm sure it'll make its way to another console...I'd say within the next 2 to 3 years. It'll be a simultaneous release on PS5 just as it was on PS3/PS4 five years ago.
"And after this one, Ghost of Tsushima and then Nioh 2. I love feudal Japanese based games."
You are not alone, my friend. I even went back to revisit Total War: Shogun 2 the other day.
Totally concur about ESPN NFL 2K5.
Same here. And I still have the OG phatty PS2 with benefits of the internal hdd compatibility. Sadly, the official hdd I got with FFXI just crapped out on me a couple weeks ago.

Yeah, I wonder whatever happened with Shadow of the Eternals? It was Kickstarted, failed, and presumably resurrected again. Haven't heard anything else about it since.
@Needed000
"If this game is bad, Sony wouldn’t market this game in first place."
Not saying anything about Days Gone, I think you tend to overestimate Sony's penchant for marketing at times...

The development team is said to have been inspired by Metal Gear Rising: Revengence, so take that as you may.
