I can see why this is being done. I used to go through the paper manuals in the older generations, and loved it. However, this generation paper manuals are nothing more than the Xbox Live warnings and usage junk, and maybe the controls, and if you really lucky, a little blurb about the characters. The last one that I read that was of any use was seriously Left 4 Dead's because they gave the back story on the Survivors.
& I didn't even use it for anything important.. So, the ...
A Wii game ported to the 360 doesn't look as good as some of the best looking games this generation, which were graphical feats? Imagine that.
I didn't know that they were even porting it to the 360 & PS3! That's sooo amazing, I hope they do this for other games, also.. Like. likelikelike.. Well....... House of the Dead: Overkill, perhaps.. Or a longer MadWorld.. & gosh... It would be like heaven to play any 1st party Nintendo games on my 360, with an actual controller... If only.. I know it could never happen, but.. A girl can dream.
and I still won't want to pay for PSN.
& seriously, like the guy above said, even if they're random people.. if they're chill, multiplayer games are way more fun when people aren't mutes. I've had amazing experiences on L4D or Halo with fun, random people. Sure, I have my friends in RL, but having fun people to play with over XBL is also rewarding and makes my games that much more worth buying.
My shop. Right. It's GameStop, we only sell expensive things, not random bluetooths that would help the customer. Don't be ridic.
Arcade games and PS2 remakes get to count? Weird. I guess I can see why it does..
I'm a little sad that neither of the L4Ds made it in the top 10 though.
Gee, thanks for the offer, pal.
Could be 55%. Or 100% of people that I meet on PSN. Seriously, I don't know. I do know that not everyone knows that any bluetooth works with PSN, I work at GameStop and have to explain that to everyone that feels they have to get the $50 Sony one that we never have in stock.
& I have friends on PSN that I know, but with no headset. So, it would be like playing with a mute who would friendly fire every chance they got. haha. If PS3 is your main console, I can see how it could ...
PSN is lacking a lot. Sure, you could point out the obvious like the Party Chat that they're missing, which hey I think is pretty important, and made the Xbox 360 that much more amazing for me. But, seriously, I never meet anyone worthwhile on the PSN, & no one EVER seems to have a head set. Ever. I've played on my friends PS3 until I got my own, and I just have had bad luck with that apparently.
But, anyone who buys something outside of the arcade package for 360, the system...
See, your list shows your priorities. The web browser and PSN store are what you think of FIRST when you thought of features you use on the PSN. Not multiplayer gaming or playing with your friends. Which, are the biggest features for me on the 360, and what I would think of first before anything else.
It may not have been your intention, and that's swell. But, for PSN, I do think in the order of your list... Except I do find the browser pointless, but I have a laptop.. Anyhoo, ...
I have both consoles, and I actually agree with this. On my 360, I talk to my friends and play multiplayer games with them all the time... On my PS3, I have friends located on my friends list, but I don't really play with any of them, and without party chat and the fact that 75% of the people on the PS3 don't have a headset, I don't really have anyone to play with on the console. Pointless.
But, I'm still connected to the internet on the PS3. But, I never use it for anything wort...
Uno.. The Chatroulette of the Xbox 360.
I probably won't... I'm just going to play my GBA version of Sonic. haha. He never had a sword. <3
While I do agree RE5 is one of the funnest RE ever, RE4 is fun, and actually scary.
Plus, no dead rising? I could sit around in that game and just kill zombies and never get bored. Sure, the pictures and the 72hr time limit kind of sucks, but I still loved the game.
I don't understand how anyone on the Sonic dev team could think that handing him a sword was ever a good idea. Like.. Seriously. At that point, I think the team was just trying to kill him off completely, so they could work on something else.
You're obv a Valve fanboy... but, hey, I love them too. I love indirect story telling. Half-Life 2 is obviously a good example, with a good story..
But even my favorite game, Left 4 Dead. There's not one single cutscene about what actually happened 2 weeks before the game took place, but if you read all the walls, all the safe rooms, listen to all the dialogue of the characters, and pay attention, it kind of fleshes out. I mean, it's still a generic Zombie Apocalypse story... bu...
Let's just throw this out there. Bioshock is not a spiritual offspring of Half-Life 2. It's a remake of System Shock 2, located under the sea. So, give all the credit to Bioshock's story and story telling to SS2 where it belongs, my friend. Do it.
Alright, now that that's out of my system, I think that story telling in games can be flawed and be alright, as long as I love the gameplay. Plus, if they throw in co-op, I'm even more forgiving. & I think a lot of people are like ...
I've been playing MGS 1 on my PS3 as a PSone download, and seriously, it looks pretty decent. Why would you need a remake? I can definitely deal with the graphics, plus, it's all classic and how I remember.. Kojima should never touch them.
Alright, someone really does need to fix up Crash Bandicoot, it was my favorite game series ever, and pretty much why my PSone got played at all.
But, otherwise, Sonic is already getting a reboot, in the form of a true sequel in 2D and running around and no swords. It's getting released in episodic DLC.
& I disagree with Guitar Hero. Band Hero is not a sequel to Guitar Hero, it's sole purpose is for there to be a kids version of Guitar Hero, so parents don't have ...
Ubisoft charged $60 for both the 360 and PC version of Splinter Cell Conviction. The single player is 5 hours long. I'd pay $40 for that shizz, no question... which is actually what I did with the sale at Kmart.. but, seriously, they took the $60 Activision PC game price point. Do you really think they're ungreedy enough to lower the price? When they're already raising the price on PC games for no reason?
