I'll have to go to Kmart, then. I always hate going there, it's like walking into a tomb. Creeps me out.
It's adorable, and looks super fun.
Dante's Inferno stole everything from God of War... Except it's amazingness.
3D Dot Game Heroes apparently stole some amazingness to boot.
Ubisoft is just lucky I'd rather play Assassin's Creed 2 on my 360. Otherwise, I would have pirated it for my PC. I don't normally pirate, I like supporting developers. But, with that DRM, they are screwing over their fans.
Plus, with the server emulator and the cracked versions of the game, their DRM is useless now. I wish they like, kept up, with gaming news. They should realize that their DRM is completely pointless now, and it's just hurting their legit customers, and defini...
I'm a huge chicken, let's just throw that out there. I love scary movies, but I always have to hide behind my hands or behind someone. So, try as I might to play scary games all the way through, the lack of being able to play and hide behind my hands at the same time is a major struggle for me..
But, I try to play scary games. & I think the environment and atmosphere gets to me the most, like background noises, fog, writing on the walls, blood stains, etc, it makes the whole...
Halo 3, had a lot of hype. But, they delivered. Forge was something completely new, and being able to save videos recorded of you playing was also flippin awesome. Plus, the campaign was super fun, and multiplayer, as always, was a blast.
What we're talking about in this article are OVERhyped games, as in games that did not deserve the hype. Such as, Haze. or Too Human. Not actual amazing games.
Grand Theft Auto IV I do agree though.. It just wasn't very fun. I lik...
I sincerely do not agree that Little Big Planet received too much hype. Plus, your basis that it just didn't sell enough, so it didn't live up to the hype, is just plain stupid. Everything that Media Molecule said that LBP would deliver, it did. It's truly innovative and really opened up the door to more of the PlayCreateShare kind of games, such as Modnation Racers.
"However when you consider how humongous the hype around Little Big Planet was, the pay off should have been ...
That's cool, I guess. I got the Blue Proto-Drake from Heroic Utgarde Pinnacle, and I think it looks really nice, so I really have no need to have a mount I'd have to pay extra for.
If Treyarch does get to make all the COD games, I really won't mind.. I'll actually buy them and keep them. MW2 I traded in pretty quickly, while World at War I've kept and I still play it quite a bit. Not even just the multiplayer, I like co-op campaign and Nazi Zombies. Plus, look at all the map packs they released, and they weren't only multiplayer maps, but Nazi Zombie maps too. They really care about their fans, and what they want. Plus, they didn't screw over PC gamers. None of those ar...
Infinity Ward is confusing. I can't really see the line where their decisions ended and Activision's decisions started. Like, was it Activision that said, screw PC gamers - no dedicated servers or anything fun for you, or was it actually IW that took on the Activision mentality of not caring about their fanbase.
I guess we'll see exactly how much influence Activision had on MW2 when we have our hands on the first game from Respawn Entertainment. I feel they need to earn our trus...
I'm a smidge late responding, so you won't see this, but I'm bored and I never like to leave a remark towards me hanging. and no, I don't think everyone with a fat PS3 got the memo, but if they were super hardcore about having Linux on their Ps3, I bet they would have seen that OtherOS was going to be taken out. Either through the news, or from the patch notes you had to read before you updated. & If something I loved that much was getting taken away, I would have done some research into ...
Having a graphics engine, then changing it because you realized it just wouldn't work out, isn't really "smoke and mirrors" that's realizing - "Hey, if we want Halo 2 to have the environments that we want, this graphics engine just won't do, so we'll have to start over."
I mean, from the way they talk, it wasn't a deliberate illusion to pull one over on gamers, it was they made a really great graphics engine, but it just wasn't feasible for them to make the ga...
If he had bypassed the update, he would have been fine. But, he was afraid of the banhammer.
If having linux was that important to you, you shouldn't have updated. You should have bought a slim or another used PS3, activated your account and all your games onto that one, and then made a new account on your fat PS3, bypass the update, and shabam. You could have had your linux, since it's apparently very very important to you, and then if the ban hammer did come crashing, you would be fine.
All I'm saying is if it was THAT important to you, you could have worked it out. :...
Nope, I had it right in there. Sure, GameStop, will pay you a little bit for your games - at the most $25, usually less, and then mark it up to the price of a brand new game, subtracting $5. So, they are taking the 59.99 from developers, while making a disgusting profit on it. Hackers at least don't make $25 or more off of someone getting a hacked game.
I'm not condoning either. I'm just saying that if people are going to say that hackers result in lost sales to the developers a...
At least hackers don't make a profit from hacking games..
If you think about it, though, in regards to the PS3, and 360, and well, any of the consoles - People buy used games, from Gamestop, or any speciality video game store, right? The developers and publishers see 0 money back from that. So, it's just as good as if you had pirated it, except you're giving up your money to a corporation that had no part in making the game. & this is a known problem in the industry.
...
Screw up everyone? I bet the majority of people up in arms over losing Linux access never even used it for very much, if at all.
Plus, if someone is passionate about keeping it, there have been ways to bypass the update, and keep signing into PSN. So, really, if the OtherOS was that important to you, use one of those methods and back off this Hotz kid. He really is smart, and if you could do something that you could actually get famous for, I bet you would. You're just jealous o...
Yay, 3D Dot Game Heroes got a splendid score. I've had that preordered for forever. Super excited. & I want to read their review for Metro 2033, since it's gotten kind of mixed reviews. I've been wanting to check it out. I usually agree with what Game Informer likes, not necessarily with what they dislike though. So we'll seeee. :)
I used to hate the points, but now I like them. With PSN, you can never get a discount on the card, because $20 is $20 is $20. But M$ points you can buy discounted on occasion, if you can find them. (Not on steal your password sites, obviously. But there are legit ones.)
Plus, it is beneficial to have a universal currency.
I think the last time I went to a Kmart was Halo 3 launch day.. everyplace was sold out, but I went to Kmart and they had one copy left.. I was soo happy. :) I had forgotten to preorder it, haha. woops.
