If you want an Activision game, just buy used. That's what I do. The only actual money I've given to Activision in forever has been for my MW2 console.. and I needed a new one, and it was the best bang for my buck.
I cared a heck of a lot about Ethan, and it felt like I had actual control over what he did. I liked how my actions had consequences, and the ending I got made me hella maddd. I liked how you could always hear what they were thinking, and the controls did make me angry every now and then, but it felt like a small price to pay. I would be replaying it right nowww, but with the trophies & PSN being messed up, I can't. :(
Still down. My Ps3 is now a Ps2 til they fix this shizz. All my games have trophies. :(
I think they need to fix more than just getting the servers online, though, as in being able to play trophy-enabled games even when the network is down, plus all the PSone games I downloaded..
is the fact that you cannot play single player games offline if the server is down if the games happen to have trophies, not to mention all my PSone titles that I bought and downloaded and installed don't work either. For the Xbox 360, you can play single players offline even if the server crashed, and you can play your downloaded content also. So this is a PSN flaw, and it is pretty serious, and I agree, I think it should be fixed.
I don't think that anything should stop you f...
I love Nazi Zombies from World at War.
I wish Treyarch would stop with their Call of Duty games, and just make a full Nazi Zombies game. I would buy it up, fersureee.
Gaming is an expensive hobby, the systems are expensive, and the games are $60 a piece. So all it takes is someone to diss one console, slightly, for them to get all defensive and escalate everything, because they invested a bunch of money into that system.
So when things happen like the 360's RROD when it costs $400 or the PS3 coming out a year later, costing $600 and not having many games at all, people get their panties in a twist when other people point these things out, bec...
Nice to see you, pal :]
But, yes. Heavy Rain is amazing.. But I don't think it would be a good movie.. I just don't really like any of the video game movies, because what's great about video games is the control you have. Especially in a game like Heavy Rain where you are making all the decisions for these people.. All that is lost in a movie and It wouldn't be nearly as powerful.
It wouldn't be nearly as powerful as the game was, you wouldn't be in control. It would just be an average movie, but it's an extraordinary game.
It's not really an answer to Heavy Rain at all, because you can get it on the PS3, I've heard, it's just over in Japan.. but blu rays aren't region locked. Plus, I loved Heavy Rain, and that was a serious game, it's not campy and ridiculous like this game is. Apples and oranges.
But anyways, I looove campy so-bad-it's-good kind of things like this. It's why Dragon Wars is one of my favorite movies of all time..
Sooo, yeah... I'm buying it tomorrow :) They only sent t...
My Madison and Ethan never had sex, I was like fudge off, skank, when she went in for the kiss..
I understand helping Ethan with his wounds, whatever, I would do that. But once the police got involved, I'd be like uhmmm, yeah no. Especially when I had Ethan admit he suspects himself of being the killer... Idk. She just confused me.
I really just didn't understand Madison at all. I understood lending a helping hand.. but, to that degree? She didn't know someone or other at all.. but then - this isn't really a spoiler, it's been everywhere - she's randomly a love interest? This game, minus the first parts, only takes place within a handful of days.... I denied her, personally.. I just didn't think it fit.
It was very thrilling, actually. Some of the time, I'd be sitting back relaxing, and then a QTE that was really stressful would make me sit up and actually get excited.. Normally, I'm one of those people that plays thru everything the mean way - being a meanie to everyone for funsies, but I couldn't help but want to help Ethan out. That poor fella had a cunt of a wife, and then his son was all distant.. sad face. :[ So, I actually played it how I thought Ethan would carry on.. Which means I c...
It shouldn't drop it down 3 whole points, will it? I doubt this site, who I've pretty much never heard of, has very much weight on the scale.
I wish they would redo the whole scale, they should show all the scores, but not include the one highest and the one lowest score in the average, just to get rid of the odd balls like this one. It would be a more even average, and much more fair. You don't really know the background of the reviewer, but they get all this weight. He could h...
I thought it was a ridic good game, but the controls reminded me of Indigo Prophecy, and I hated those, too.. It takes so much convincing to have the characters do something on occasion, and you also have little control sometimes. For example - no spoilers - at the end of the game, I was walking in a warehouse, and there was a big circle hole about 10 feet wide and 4 inches deep the ground, with nothing in it. It was just within the straight line of where I needed to go. I walked into it, thi...
I agree, The Pro shouldn't get fired, whatever. But he chose to engage in an obviously immature conversation with some guy that was just trying to get under his skin. & He was making threats about banning him the whole time, and banning every console he's ever been on. Which is totally acceptable for someone in a position of power right?! Not in my experience.
I think moderators should at least be professional and mature. A lot of people trash talk on XBL, and that's why the...
My friend who plays MW2 online (on the 360) religiously always comes across care package glitchers. Always, it's horrible. He gets kind of snippy over it..
When you pay $60 for a game that's so flawed, it's not immature to be upset about it. I'd say it's understandable. We all know that IW isn't out to please the fans anymore, look at how they abandoned the PC gamers. They're in it to fill their pockets, so they shipped out a game with lots of glitches, because they didn't want ...
I don't like Infinity Ward anymore. They're Activision's mindless drones now. Anything for a profit. They shipped out a flawed product, and it's a shame.
On Treyarch being considered inferior: I loved COD 5 WaW. Treyarch may have copy and pasted the mechanics, but they added some things that IW neglects. Co-op campaign, some goofy fun stuff like Nazi Zombies, and unparalleled support. Three map packs, and in those they even add maps and a lot of extra stuff for Nazi Zombies. Eac...
I had the 360 since a smidge after launch, and I got my 60gb backwards compatible PS3 this past Christmas. My 360 never RRODed or failed and I sold it back to Gamestop to get the MW2 console, since the disc drive was just starting to go, years after I got it. Now, I download the majority of games I buy to my harddrive (It's 250gb, so I hafta use it for something..), but some I just don't bother because I'm borrowing it, or something, and my 360 is quiet. My older one was a little louder, and ...
She's more fashionable than Zoey! She has a hot shirt and hott boots.
But what about gamers that lose their internet? Then they just can't play the product - that they payed for - at all. This is one game that needed to be cracked.
Seriously, if I didn't have a 360, and I had been looking forward to AC2 on the PC, and I was uninformed about how to get cracked games, I would just pass on the game. Ubisoft should realize there's no way to actually beat hackers - they seem pretty flippin determined, and coming up with the most annoying DRM ever is jus...
