I hardly ever suggest the warranty on systems unless they're a used 360 - because as long as the 360 works, then we take it in, but we don't check how old it is, so it could be moments from a RROD, and if they don't get the warranty, and it fails after 30 days, then we can't do anything for them.. You're the only one. Most Sony fanboys aren't dumb enough to wish for 0 competition. There would have been no reason for Sony to lower the price of the PS3, especially not all the way down to $300. I like having choices.
Plus, deny it all you want, the 360 is the console of choice for plenty of gamers. I buy all the multiplatforms for my 360, and use it wayyy more than my PS3. I only buy exclusives for my PS3 and I really just don't like the PSN, like 90% of the people on there ...
Fable 3, Portal 2, Crackdown 2, Halo Reach, Splinter Cell: Conviction, and there are others.. Plus, we already saw Mass Effect 2 come out this year, which obviously was huge.
Those are all going to be amazing games, and they're going to be on the 360 - not the PS3.
It's not. The 360 has a great lineup of games, I'm personally looking forward to Alan Wake. & there are a bunch of others. Fable 3, Portal 2, Crackdown 2, Halo Reach, Splinter Cell.
God of War 3 is amazing, no doubt. But with the 360's lineup, there's really no end in sight.
It was better than some. I think the Britney Spears episode was by far the worst. This was a huge jump up from that... I thought the video game parts were actually really funny, and I always love Butters, and his obsession with the bush was so adorably ridiculous..

It's true that Ubisoft really did kind of ask for it.. Not only did they implement this broken, horrible DRM.. but they kept taunting hackers saying "There's no full crack yet! There's no full crack yet! No one could ever crack this game! Nope nope nope nope nope! Nevers!"
Now, when the game is cracked fully and released, Ubisoft will not only have had their game pirated, but they'll also get a lot more attention for their stupidity over this all.
I don't want motion controls, like, at all. I tried that Wii nonsense, and it didn't really keep me hooked. I mean, it might be better when there's actual online play and an actual headset, since Sony and M$ don't feel the need to completely replace parents.. so I can actually play with my friends.. But I'm still extremely skeptical.
Why would they make a 360 that includes a blu ray player for games? They have a huge install base already. It's an impossibility at this point..

See, I agree, pirating is bad, mkay. ... Normally. and normally, pirating is kind of a hassle compared to just buying the game..
But I'd rather pirate this game than deal with that broken DRM. If their servers go down, which, they apparently have for some european users since their servers got attacked, then you spent a bunch of money on something that can't even play. Or, heaven forbid, your internet goes down, you can't play that single player game that you just spent moneys on...
does have better graphics for a bunch of the multiplayer games, but that's not based on the hardware, that's based on people not optimizing the game for the Ps3..
Plus, Ps3 exclusives knock the competition out of the park for graphics...

I think this would be a wise buy for older people who have trouble with little screens and itty bitty styluses. I work at Gamestop, and this past Christmas there was a guy that bought a DSi for his mommy, and he plans on buying the XL once it comes out and trading in the other one..

With the first pirated versions of Arkham Asylum, the glide button wouldn't work, so the hackers had to go back and fix it. I'm sure they could go back and fix any small problems..
The disc warranties are actually a good buy for some people. I never suggest it for PS3 games, but you'll never imagine the amount of 360 owners that buy a brand new game, take it home, and give it the circle scratch. That's not covered in the 30 day free guarantee, but if they put a couple dollars down, they can bring it back in and get a brand new copy, no questions asked.
