Er, thanks pal?
Well, weren't they trying to do other things? Like the ability to pirate and other junk. The focus didn't seem to be GET THE INFORMATION. It was more like HACK IT SO I CAN PLAY PIRATED GAMES ON IT.
I think both issues are crying over spilled milk. You can't change either, and I don't notice the mandatory installs so much personally, and I don't care about swapping disks either. It's not worth crying about in reviews, and I haven't seen anyone bring up mandatory installs in reviews, either. & I read IGN, and they are notoriously nitpicky when it comes to everything PS3.
Maybe people can't take the mandatory installs because they sit there and...
Really? I disagree. I must not be as nitpicky as the hardcore fanboys are but I rarely see a difference between versions. Oh my, the PS3 has better shadows, the 360 has better contrast ...
It all looks damn pretty to me.
Well, some of the mandatory installs are very large, and make you just sit there and wait. 3 disks is still pop in a disk, play, pop disk out - pop another one in, play. No waiting.
Maybe impatience wins the day. I certainly haven't heard a big deal from anyone, personally, but if you have that would probably be the reason.
Plus, I don't think swapping disks is that bad, and with the size of games these days I think there is definitely an excuse. Th...
Why wouldn't they just be like "Hey. The hackers hate us. Let's just encrypt everything to be on the safe side. So even if our obviously infallible security .. falls, we'd be safe."
I kind of agree. At least go back to Altair.
Or give us a real sequel, with a new time period to explore.
That just sounds icky.. I don't think I want any.
I like disks. I like having the option to share my games, or trade them in. I haven't bought an EA game that utilizes online in .. forever. Them going digital will end up making me not buy their single player games, as well.
Except if they come out with Mirror's Edge 2. Only exception.
Soo, is AC going to be a yearly game, then?
Ezio is a pretty hott cow.
They can't really know for sure, though. The main "heads" of Anonymous could have been completely not involved but the biggest benefit / flaw of Anon is complete anonymity even among the members.
I dunno. Anonymous is made up of random people. Some of the people are good, and go after good causes, others lurk on 4chan and harass young girls.
Anonymous isn't a real club, there's no membership. You decide you're in, then you're in, and I bet some radical crazy person could have decided they're in and did this in their name.
Anonymous is currently the victim of their biggest flaw / benefit. Complete anonymity even among the members.
I want the NGP sooo hard.
Sure. It'll sell. But, will it appeal to the core and keep us playing it?
Will 3rd party developers support it / be marketable on the console?
Will the online be worthwhile? Will it have a hard drive that is larger than an insulting 8gb?
There are a lot of other, more important (imo) questions to ask than just if it will sell.
Nintendo must be kidding. Just cover all the necessary bases to be a real console in the current generation:
Real online
HD
a real hard drive. At least 50gb.
8gb is a joke. A cruel one. Unless they pull some magic out of a hat and find another way to save lots of large files, then I probably won't be getting it. They already have a marketplace that you have to shuffle files around by deleting ones in order to be able to get anything new. ...
Well.. I just got Kinect so I'm good.
My boyfriend is crying, though.
It should be a law.
Really, Nintendo? I swear to goodness, I hope this is just untrue.
Why can't Nintendo just cover all the bases? Have real online, have HD, and have a goddamn hard drive. Nothing huge, just 20-50gb. Just give me something to work with, please.
Like, a real functioning worthwhile current gen system. Even though this is supposed to be next gen, all I'm asking for is it to be up to par with the current gen.
Thanks.
Don't they have that Wii marketplace right now? Which you can download stuff off of..
For fudge sake, just gimme a harddrive. At least 20-50gb.
I completely agree. There are some achievements that I try to get because I love the game and want to play it all the time, and achievements give me something extra to do. I can think of the Left 4 Deads in particular that the achievements really add something to the game. Which, I have all the campaign achievements for both, and everything for L4D1 - except for some of the newer DLC. Portal has fun achievements to try to get, too. Valve games in general, I suppose. I think they just know how...
