Would have been interesting, to say the least. I'm kinda glad it's not going to happen, though. I feel like it could have been abused, and I don't want to drag someone around anywayss.
See, I think everything you said was .. very well said. And it sort of makes sense. But, I still don't really agree. I think Kinect is actually fun and if people tried it out more, they would see what the hubbub is about. I think it has a place along side hardcore games, and Child of Eden shows that real games can be made for Kinect and they can come out amazing, because it really is a nice little piece of technology.
That being said, I'm not sure if you know M$, but ...
But.. I'm pretty sure they'll still make and sell games to us.. This industry is worth millions and millions. This is just an added functionality that's silly and pointless, but I won't have to touch it.
The systems today are all multi function, apart from Nintendo which is always in it's own world. They play movies, they have netflix, they both have video and music marketplaces. Microsoft has that ESPN nonsense. They're an all in one entertainment device.
.. but last I checked, we're still getting games. Child of Eden - a Kinect game - is getting stellar reviews. The holidays are around the corner and there are a bunch of AAA titles coming out. So, I dunno. The ...
Competition always makes things better. Also, if you like playing games online and having a community someplace other than just the PC, you should thank M$. They took the internet thing and ran with it and took a chance and look at it now. It's huge. & M$ still is the only system that is literally fostering a community with it's interface. PS3 is miles behind in that regard. They have the functionality, but Sony's interface is lacking. They're more hardware. Microsoft is a...
Firstly, that's an over generalization. Alice Madness Returns just came out like last week, the reviews were harsh on it, but it's pretty underrated. I would check that out if I were you. Plus you get the first game bundled with it for freeeee.
But, anyways, better go reserve your copy of Catherine that's out in July. :] It's super Japan-tastic.
You can still get 2 months for $2.
Nifty. I have this almost paid off at GameStop.. I'll get it soon :D
..Nope.
I think the PS Vita will be a big hit, especially since it's priced the same as the 3DS.
However, I personally don't understand how Nintendo can get away selling the same exact games but throwing them in 3D and calling it new, but it really seems to work for them. So, it won't be easy for the PSV to overcome them anytime soon.
It's been a really long while since Heavy Rain came out. If someone has managed to avoid finding out who the killer is for this long, I'm sure they're actively avoiding any possible spoilers, which would mean any article that has a hint of Heavy Rain and its comment sections.
I think Ethan Mars was a good father. He went through the Saw movies just to get that whiny twerp back.
I guess that's cool. But I think I'd rather have the PS3 / Vita combo.. You can take the Vita anywhere, and transfer saves for certain games, apparently. Hopefully they expand that feature.
So, I dunno. It's a matter of what games you want to play, I guess.
Wow, I didn't even notice that somehow. Anyways, everything I see about the Wii U makes me doubt it more and more and I really don't see myself ever buying this. I learned my lesson from buying the Wii.
I would. You can return that 360 game within the same 7 days.
Unless its EA, then you're not getting anything different than the new copy, and there are so many cheap, cheap preowned 360 and PS3 games that aren't easy to find new anymore. It's a win win win.
Screw myself? Classy, pal.
If the lady walked out of there with a new game, then she wasn't forced to do anything. If you don't want to deal with sales people, then shop online. Because that's what sales people at GameStops do. Hell, that's just what all sales people do, period. We sell you things and let you know our offers, so customers can make informed decisions.
You'll get "hassled" anywhere. Either you or the woman made a b...
This is bull-shizzle. At GameStop, employees are required to ask if they would like the game pre-owned rather than new, and it depends on what the customer says.
"GameStop had hit an all time-low" because of this? Really? There are individual crappy employees in every single store. This is not GameStop policy. This is that person being stupid, and that woman making too big deal out of it. "Almost refused" means he tried to convince her otherwise to maybe ...
Okay. Really. What doesn't make sense here is why would they allow a website that uses a letter grading scale to be included on metacritic at all. Because it makes no effin' sense. Use numbers, or get the fudge off the goddamn list.
This guys review was legitimately a Fox News rant about Duke Nukem as a person, and had nothing to say about the actual game apart from "It does have some really good moments" WHICH MEANS IT DOES NOT DESERVE A ZERO.
<...
It had nothing to say about the actual game itself at all, really. He just went on a Fox News rant about how offended he was by Duke and how outdated his sexism is.
He even said that there were a bunch of good parts to the game, awesome moments. How does that deserve a 0?
This guy is just being ridiculous. Hack & Slash games are amazing. Stealth games are amazing, especially MGS. Thief is also good. And Survival Horror is amazing. Silent Hill, Amnesia, Siren Blood Curse, etc.
Worst list I have read in a long while.
