Is it free? I thought you had to have PS+ to get this?
It's true my comment wasn't well thought out, it was just my first reaction. This news is like what they're doing with comic book series television. Like a Batman series without Batman (Gotham) and a marvel series without the marvel superheroes (Agents of SHIELD.) It's just boring and not what the masses want. Well, at least, not what I want.
What a bad idea.
I nearly bought it, but I was so into NBA 2K14 at the time I avoided all other games. If I crave a platformer soon (which happens from time to time) I'll be picking up Max, it did look really fun.
I know I watch TV for a couple hours a day with it. It's a great feature. The XB1 is pretty much on in my house as soon as I get home from work to when I go to bed.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that one. Halo: SA is a lock for games with gold, especially since there's micro-transactions in that game. MS will want to capitalize on those micro-transactions with a wider audience by giving it away.
Deadlight looked fun but got some pretty bad reviews. That's why I'm glad I get to try it "free" with my Gold Subscription. Still, wish they'd give us something for XB1, maybe that Max Curse of Brotherhood game or something!
I'm hoping so. If Batman really is delayed I may end up going with Dragon Age Inquisition, which is starting to look really good after its latest trailer.
NO NO NOOOOOO!!! It was going to be THE game to get me through the Fall season. Say it ain't so!
With Major Nelson stating "we know what we need to do" it seems like a big hint to a price drop coming around E3, because that is exactly what they need to do.
Launching in more countries would be good, but because the system relies so much on voice to navigate it's got to be hard to get the system to understand all the different languages and dialects.
Eidos has some of the best IP under their umbrella, I'm excited for whatever it could be.
I really wish they'd give him the money he's asking for. He doesn't seem like the greedy type from anything I've seen or read about him, so they really must have paid poorly for the work he did in the other games. Mankind was one of my favorite wrestlers back in the day and I would love to see him in a next-gen wrestling game.
Launching a new console 2 years from now is easily the best plan (I'd be happy with 1 year from now, though I know that won't happen.) That way they'd get a console more powerful than PS4 or XB1 that could play all the PS4 and XB1 multiplatform games and be future proof for awhile. No way would MS or Sony try to compete with a new console that soon, they could only compete with price drops and exclusives. But let's be honest, Nintendo's exclusive lineup is pretty darn gre...
I love the Viva Pinata series, I'll agree to that!
It's definitely going to be Halo 2 HD announced for Fall 2014.
I'll be buying Forza Horizon 2 as I loved the first one! As for a new Banjo, I could take it or leave it, they'd really have to wow me to get to buy it.
I think we will see an official price cut announced at E3, I don't see why not? MS keeps saying they're in it to win it, well that's what they're going to have to do to have a chance at all to win this console generatio...
When I was a kid, there were these arcades that had these insane VR games with setups that looked similar to this (I only saw them in San Francisco though.)
It's so funny how what was once old is now new again, albeit with WAAAAAYYY better technology. And maybe this will usher in a new era for arcades, since I don't see most people getting these things for personal use. Spending a couple bucks to play a few rounds of VR Counter-strike, or other games, could be cool in...
I didn't know I'd use the voice commands so much, but it's true, I won't go back! I boot up my tv, xb1, a/v receiver all with one voice command. From there I boot up a game, netflix, tv, or any app with another command! The only thing I'm searching for is my controller to play games.
People used to say the same thing about comic books. Heck, if you go further back they say the same things about books! Then it was movies, then TV. The cycle will start again with another technology soon, probably texting. And round and round we go...
It's probably upwards of 90% for me. Thanks, Humble Bundle. I just can't resist you.
The answer is YES! Okay, that's my wishful thinking, but it wouldn't surprise me. He'd be a great boss fight too.
