I had an extra one, check your inbox for a PM from me.
Yep, Witcher 3, Batman: AK, and now DA: Inquisition. For awhile I had too many good games to choose from, now there's not enough!
I may just pick up Shadows of Mordor to get my October gaming fix. Unless that gets delayed too.
It seemed pretty obvious they were pledging to their own campaign to make it look successful. Well, at least this one got stopped before a bunch of people lost their money.
Yep, I read Yukes was still developing. All hope I had for this game is gone. Guess I'll wait til the contract runs out.
I agree with this list, though what would replace this stuff instead, I'm not too sure. But those winch missions, uuuuggggghhh.
The one thing for me that needs to die in this series (though it's not a mission type) is the Tap "A" to sprint. I'm so annoyed by that, just let me hold the button!
I rely on a mix of critic and user reviews when I buy games. I was told by another person on here to "try it for yourself, don't listen to critics". That'd be nice, if I didn't have to spend 60 dollars to "try" it. Unfortunately, I do have to rely on other people's opinions, but reading reviews from several trusted journalists has kept me from buying a bad game in at least ten years.
Losing jobs = Bad
Making a TV division for your console that has tons of other options to watch TV on = Stupid, and way too expensive
I normally dislike reading Totilo articles and I was about 2 seconds from closing the tab on it, but then he really delved into the buttons and showed examples of what they do along with explanations. Daresay, I actually enjoyed reading it!
Anyway, the view button is very random depending on the game. I think they should have just threw a Z on it and called it the Z-button allowing developers to do whatever they wanted with it. Like a freestyle button that can change for what...
I'm excited to see this game in action. I used to love WWF and WCW back in the day. I played the heck out of Royal Rumble on the SNES, and I may pick this one up. Especially now that 2K has taken the reigns.
You're probably right, especially as the software to develop games becomes more accessible. As more and more people can create games that look promising, there could definitely be more failures.
Having the drive and talent to make a game doesn't mean that person will have business sense. Running out of money seems to be the common denominator in early access games failing.
I don't purchase early access games on PC, and I wouldn't on my consoles either. However, if there's a market for such a thing, which there seems to be, then it's at least worth allowing.
From my perspective, the worst thing about early access seems to be giving a developer your money and then the developer doesn't finish the game. Even though we see articles about it, this kind of thing is pretty rare. For me, I just like my games to be tested and as man...
They brought us the Deadly Premonition Director's Cut. That makes them the greatest publisher of all time :)
DA is looking good, but so is Shadow of Mordor. Decisions, decisions.
That was some good satire!
I do really like Ryse, but I understand why people don't enjoy it. It's not a perfect game, but I had a ton of fun. Plus it's nice to see a story conclude without having the ending be a setup for a sequel. That's rare these days!
I'm inclined to agree. EA should be held accountable for the disaster that was BF4, unfortunately it sold well and they can continue their decline without too much of a hit in revenue.
My money is going to R6 Siege and I'll be staying away from BF Hardline.
Yeah, what ThatEnglishDude said. They guarantee at least 40 dollars for Watch Dogs until the 26th with a promo they're running. Of course, most games probably don't get this promo so I may not be able to do it again with future games!
There was plenty of footage and screenshots that showed the what the game really looked like as the release date neared. So I wasn't surprised by what it looked like when it did come out. Of course if I did only see that 2012 demo, then I would have been majorly disappointed. But who goes by one video from 2 years ago when they buy a game?
I bought the game day one, played the heck out of it for a month, then I beat it and traded it in for 42.50 at Gamestop. Not a bad gam...
Here's the thing, when these prices don't work (and they won't) Sony will change them. Simple as that.
I do think having some rentals be part of the PS+ subscription would be a good idea, but if that were to happen, who's really making any money? It's not like PS+ subs would skyrocket if that were to be announced. I'm still not sure who this service is for.
Got 5 bucks, then promptly removed permissions from app on FB. Thanks for the link!
In other news, water is wet.
