You know, out of my entire Xbox 1 games collection, only one of my favorite games is not BC on the 360, and that's "Destroy all humans".
But to be honest, I don't want my console wasting money on BC research, it's a nice little bonus when you have BC but I don't want them wasting any time on it. My original xbox is still sitting right next to my tv, should I ever need it.
HD-DVD players are currently half as cheap as Bluray players. By your logic the drop in quality of the HD-DVD add on should therefore be half as bad as the bluray PS3 drive. So who cares? HD-DVD would still win out.
I don't want to play games off a next gen disk format. Why pay more money per game and get a more expensive console just so the developers can make their games more inefficiently. As long as developers use up to date compression techniques, there is NO reason why DVD should be exhausted this gen, and even if it should be exhausted, will your world come crashing down if you have to switch disks?

I disagree with not selling these games, as others have said, it's all about the responsibility. My little brother is 5 years old, I love all kinds of violent videogames, but I don't touch them till he's asleep at 10pm, not even simple beat-em-ups like streetfighter.
There's no benefit to it. I end up playing games feeling tired and not into it, but the reward is I know my brother will grow up mentally stable.

the only part of the 20gb PS3 that's upgradable is the hard drive. Never compare the tard version to the full version on either side.

They announced that PS3s were in production a month or two ago, why are they announcing it again?
If this is true, it emans there is a PS3 shortage in the books. It would mean they are trying to strategically allcoate scarce units to maximise the number sold.

Honest question, why not 360 too? Ebgames would discriminate against one console on purpose, they just want to shift as many units on all platforms as possible. This could only mean they have ALOT of preorders for the 360 version but nobody is bothering to preorder it on PS3 and Wii yet.
I agree, it could lead to rises in content cost and it is more incentive to release games before they are really finished. This means that by and large, the consumer loses out.
But on the other hand, it will attract better developers to the console, when they realise there is indefinite money in the marketplace.
So that means more exclusives, Bigger budgets, and guarantees survival for the console in general.

I'm not worried about the game. You obviously don't know how this works. Normal thread gets made for a news article, somebody comes along and says some s**t about the xbox, somebody responds about how they're wrong, fanboy war begins.
