I don't know... Oblivion emulated on the Wii? I'd have to see it first.
Sure, they had absolutely no obligation to be at leipzig, but with the publicity they're getting lately it's hardly the time to pass up PR events. Whether you like it or not, a large number of supporters from the PS2 are currently doubting Sony, and they need to be reassured, and for once the reassurance needs to be something other than a lie that gets disproved a day later!
I know i'm condemning the PS3. And I have the right too. It's bad enough gamers get milked of all their money on a regular basis, without company juggernaunts using their new machines to push a media format nobody needs yet and charging them inflated prices for it. Then they try and tell us we're not true gamers unless we buy it, almost like you are now.
People have to protest about this, so that companies don't think they can get away with it. It sickens me how many people her...
Dear god. Microsoft didn't lie, but they did stretch the truth. The conference just took place, it is august now. 12 months from now is... august 2007. Summer ends september-october. So yes, it will be exclusive for a year, a year from now.
God i'm tired of picking up after people like this.
Are they forgetting over here in Britain? Where we are ONLY getting the expensive version for £425, whilst Xbox 360s are readily available for £180-280 right now (I can get a core system for 180, yes.)?
Let's talk about value there, shall we? And don't forget how much stronger sterling is compared to dollars, we are getting a £145-£175 difference compared to your $100-$200 difference (I included the core version from both the 360 and the PS3, seems fair). Th...
Yeah, they said right from the start it was temporary, but it had a good run. I seem to recall they kept it open longer than originally planned because it was doing great. I would love to have visited there myself.
Ah well.
I do agree with you there, it would be smart to provide a memory card just for the low end user to make a profile and save games until they decide to cough up the cash for a HDD. I'm sure it doesn't cost that much to make them, so they wont lose much, and even if it did, a smaller memory card only included with the core 360 would be fine.
But by the looks of things they aren't selling too well with the core units compared to the premium, so they might decide to drop the core sy...
1. Don't be morons. Of course you spend more to upgrade the core, but it allows people to buy a 360 if they don't have enough for the full package yet. You can then own your fully playable 360 now, and upgrade later when you have the cash. The point is, the 360 is accessible to low income families, too.
And furthermore, you don't need to upgrade the core, it's just smarter to do so. Wireless pads are just more convenient, and the hard drive is good for BC and demos. Some consum...
Don't worry, I know. I was just taking the piss.
Now now, let's not get rash. I'm sure it's perfectly normal for share holders to s**t their pants three months before a console launch.
NVIDIA say demos look good their GPUs. And I say i'm good in bed. Everybody knows that everything people say about themselves is 100% true.
Hear that ladies.
"Why else does 480p look significantly better than 480i?"
It's called the Law of diminishing returns. If you turn a 480i signal into a 480p signal you will notice a huge difference, but as you increase resolution the difference when changing to progressive will become less and less obvious until you cannot tell the difference.
The law of diminishing returns -
The more you put into anything, the less of a reward you in turn recieve.

I wouldn't know because I never played MGS2, but wasn't it mostly FMV?
I wont try and tell you power isn't important. I bought the original xbox instead of the PS2 despite even having the store clerk telling me to get a PS2 instead, because I researched it, found it was more powerful by a long shot, and couldn't understand why anyone would want a different console.
Where I disagree: The PS3 is not even nearly as powerful as originally claimed. It is definitely not as pow...
It's not that simple i'm afraid, the wifi adaptors you're talking about have software that you must install for them to work. you will either need a plug and play wifi adaptor, which should work on the 360 too, or you will need to buy a PS3 wifi adaptor if one comes out.
DJ, companies lie. They just do. Microsoft do, Sony do. So you don't need to get into a whirl just because somebody pointed out Sony is lying.
You don't know what the cell can be used for, because all you know it what Sony told you. And even if Sony didn't lie and their gaming processor can be used for the military and medical machinery, who cares? Are you going to bomb Iraq and carry out a triple bipass with your PS3?
The equipment on board the apollo lunar craft had t...
you seriously need to get laid.
Use a condom, we wouldn't want you procreating.
Scratch that, Hirai announced that production has not begun very recently.
Well ok, Severe shortage, or imminent delay.
It's a good point, but they have already announced that production has started, which means the design must be final, if they have production lines going then they will definitely put pressure on to launch before christmas, launching after would be suicide.
Plus when they said they would launch in spring I don't think they gave a release date, now they have an exact day written down.
Oh come on, i'm all for 360 supporting, but don't you think saying the PS3 wont launch in november is a bit over the top? Just because I don't like the PS3 doesn't mean I wish it wont launch!
well, it's a shame you don't live in the UK Hyperbear. We get 1 year warantee, plus another year if we buy the extra. Your xbox isn't guaranteed to break down after 10 months, alot of 360s had faulty cooling at launch, so you only get problems when more complex games get released that make the cores run hotter. But after the repair, you'll probably never need it repaired again, you get an updated cooling system and a quieter disk drive.
Honestly, argue the repair cost, get it ...
