1. You missed my point entirely. But hey, I wasn't expecting much from you.
2. GRAW is actually good. But that wasn't the point I was trying to make.
3. Stop agreeing with yourself, it's very tasteless.
Rock this is a new low for you. Posting a game article just so you can bash it.
I'm not discussing GOW with any Fanboy. I will buy it in November, I will play it, I will enjoy it. That's all that matters.
When the PS1 was released it was competing with the Nintendo 64. And it had a new more adult image going for it. Plus need I remind you it didn't immediately start selling well until the competition was truly dead.
I'd like you to explain to a mother at christmas that she should spend several months wages on a PS3 games console because people bought another popular console for around the same price a decade ago. See how well that goes down.
you moron, I live in the UK, I know Europe better than you do. Over here 360s are more popular than the xbox ever was. And they just keep getting more popular, recently in the UK charts three out of the top five spots were 360 games, including 1 and 2.
you mean an add on right? Because the odds of an inbuilt HD-DVD drive are slim, an inbuilt Bluray drive is total fantasy.
I don't know, that chart looks impressive to me. Were it not for the shortages, i'm sure the launch numbers would have exceeded the xbox, and the first big crest should begin any week now, with the run up to christmas, just like the original xbox. And it WILL sell far more than the original xbox did in its first crest after launch, you only have to listen to people to know the 360 is far more popular than the xbox was.
EDIT: And those figures are only from the US, btw.
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
what the hell is going on here? I see 12 people disagreeing with one guy, 10 people agreeing with another. I'm not even going to complain about reasons for voting, there are some serious duplicate accounts going on here. I've never seen that many people vote on one person.
People on this site need to grow a pair of balls. When I have a problem with a guy or article I say it.
As for the article, i'm glad to see there is a working unit for reviewers to try out. Th...
not only am I sure the game is fake, i'm also sure that even if they had found an advanced copy, and they had somehow found a way of making it work on a 360, the game would not be taking up 7.6 gigs on the real disk. Because the compression techniques used by games companies are far better than anything a two bit hacker could use. And i have no idea why people are calling GOW short, either. A ten hour game will take me months to finish. If you're the kind of person who gets a game and sits do...
it's easy for you to just say that. But the douzens of articles i've read suggest that both consoles excel in their own areas, making an overall draw in terms of capabilities. I'll take the word of douzens (or even one) article over one fanboy anyday.
Everyone, take my advice here, don't buy this. It is loud, it makes your 360 PSU overheat, but above all else it's not needed. If you have a launch console, let it fail if it needs to and get it repaired for free. Consoles made after the first shipment don't really break down now. If you have a launch console and you get this, you'll only make your console last longer than the free warantee, so you'll have to pay when it breaks down.
bah! Damn xbox 360! Looking all good, making people look away from my beloved PS3. What will I do if noone likes the PS3? I'll show them! I'll get that 360 real good... I'll... I'll... vote lame on a 360 article! hah! That will show them! Ken Kuturagi will love me now!
yeah I know you can get games cheaper than $60 now, but I should've said they assumed it would cost the same as 360 games did at launch.
that's bull and you know it. You can't update textures with a patch, it's difficult, buggy, and unfair on the people without broadband. And they aren't giving us that extra quest because it will piss off PS3 owners. They've already given us loads of extra quests.
And how do you know how long it took to port it over? They could have been working on the port from the time they got a PS3 dev kit for all you know.
And the 360 and PS3 are almost identical in power. The only t...
I voted lame. Seeing the price listed on a retail site doesn't make it confirmed, retail sites make estimates if they don't know. They estimated $60 because they assume it will cost the same as 360 games.
Surely you all knew that, though?
i've said it before, i'll say it again. They would never announce a price drop before they do it, if they do, people will hold out and buy it when the price drops. Even if they're planning a drop in one week from now, they would still state that they have no plans for one.
1. It's not the best console in every respect. Hardware wise it is hardly different to the 360.
2. In a few years the 360 will also get a price cut, so it will still be cheaper.
Bloody hell, how many people are going to try saying it benefits from Bluray. After 7 months they are giving it one extra quest and "updated textures". You think that one quest and updated textures took the game to 25Gb??? Get real! The extra development time gave you the extras, not Bluray. If size was a problem then the PC and and 360 versions would not have looked almost identical, the PC version has the benefit of installing to hard drive before playing and yet only people with ...
With the kind of movies and animation i've seen coming from Japan i'm really very shocked they would take exception to Zombies.
For f**k sakes, seeing an ERP at a store does not make the price confirmed. The shops have to put a price on their products before launch for people who preorder. The shops remember that 360 games cost £50 at launch. They estimate £50 for the PS3 games. It's not bloody rocket science, whoever keeps posting these articles saying "HEY PS3 GAMES PRICED AT £50 ON AMAZON! PRICE CONFIRMED!", please just Stop.
