It would be fine if it was an optional minigame like the retro games in KH3, other than that I honestly don't see the value in a full rhythm game. It looks like cheap animations running over existing cutscenes.
Correction: We don't need a Kingdom Hearts rhythm game to begin with...
Croc was one of my very first PS1 games. I for some reason very specifically remember being confused about what language he was talking, and my dad being like "I dunno, Greece or something?". Also I remember being extremely frustrated about the controls for some reason.
AC hasn't been about realism in ages, so why insist on making massive boring landscapes?
"Huge desert with almost nothing in it, just sand": You do realize how ridiculous that sounds for a game? It was literally just filler, the desert wasn't even visually pleasing or impressive in any way. And you did have to go there, either to cross it or to go in for a quest, and it was equally frustrating each time.
But it's not just AC either, I mean in...
But it's not real life, a massive and largely lifeless world with few specs of interest in a game is just plain boring. If it's going to be plain and lifeless, it's not worth bragging about sizewise.
I don't get why people put so much value on map sizes of games. If it's not backed up by quality, the size means nothing. And by quality, i don't mean pure visually clean quality, but the overall content, life and interactivity of the world.
@mrsolidsteel20 No... just no... AC stopped being phenomenal after AC2. I will admit that Black Flag was fun, but mostly because of sea battles. I've also heard good things about Odyssey, but they might as well stop calling it Assassins Creed and just start making fantasy rpg's loosely based on history and mythology.
I never played Mass Effect 1-3, so can't compare to those, but in my opinion Andromeda was a huge letdown and a waste of money. The game felt like a long drawn out chore, and I honestly can't even remember what the plot was about.
@zega are you serious? Situation has died down? The US is starting to look like a fucking warzone, what part of it is looking like it's died down???
@meka The point is that we're talking about 1-3 weeks delay on the reveal, which compared to decades of racism on a global scale doesn't seem like a big deal. Demanding the show to go on is extremely childish and selfish right now.
@rainslacker true there is always something going on, but the US is starting to look like a warzone in some parts. This is something that is going to require massive change, and a change that is insanely overdue. This is something that ev...
There are more important things going on, and Sony recognizes that they have no right to draw attention away from this. Read the news and educate yourself, Sony's announcement will come later.
America is not the world, but racism is a global issue, and one that desperately needs to be adressed. I'm sure you can wait a little longer to hear news about PS5, there are more important things going on...
I would say read the news.... but knowing how poorly this is being reported globally, I don't blame you.
Basically a cop ended up killing George Floyd, a black man who was arrested, cuffed and on the ground and wasn't threatening anyone, yet the cop in question, Derek Chauvin, insisted on pressing his knee on his neck, ending up in George Floyd dying. This event served as a tipping point and lead people starting to protest, demanding justice and rights for black people, and ...
It was the right call
I kinda get how you feel, yes, it's been a rough year and we could use some good news, however, now is not the time, the current situation needs to be resolved before we can go back to better things.
We've had it bad this year, but there are tons of people who have had it bad for decades and that deserves more attention than news about something we're not getting until late December at earliest. This is a minor inconvenience at worst, we...
You need to stop assuming Assassins Creed is ever going to make sense or have historical accuracy again. It's a fantasy action rpg at this point, with stealth as an optional feature.
Boba Fett: a bounty hunter game might be fun, but not sure if I honestly care about Boba enough to be interested. Never understood why people hype him up so much... I'd rather see a bounty hunter game where you make your own character and hunt targets, maybe even team up with friends, sorta like Monster Hunter World.
Jyn Erso: Honestly have no opinion about her, barely remember what she was like, don't think a game would work out.
Admiral Ackbar: ...
@fr0sty I think he meant that the overall mechanics and idea are fun, but with the "story" they gave us and the extremely repetitive missions, the game falls short. The flying and combat did feel really smooth, and the environment was absolutely gorgeous. So yeah, gameplay was fun, but not enough to last long.
So yes, Bioware fucked up, but there is definitely potential. Am I still upset with them? Yeah, but this is one of those rare cases where I really wanna see...
@Segata the "literal dozen" playing the game hardly counts as support. Talking shit about Anthem at this point is neither going to change EA's practices nor push them to improve Anthem.
But DLC IS a thing, Final Mix is an obsolete concept, bringing them up as an argument is pointless, and has nothing to do with what people are complaining about.
The issue is the pricing of the DLC. It doesn't matter if in the past we would have had to pay for a whole new game, that is not something we need or should have to think about today. Based on the content, Re:Mind should be 15$ at most.
Damn, some of these people in the comments seem older than my parents. "Oh I never update anything, cause I hear electronics break after updating". Then you sit there with your outdated software, wondering why you don't have certain features or why other things don't work at all...
