They're still updating this? I played it when it came out, and another time a few years ago when I wanted to see if it was as bad as I remembered... I mean it's not as bad as Shinobi Striker, but comes pretty damn close...

While I definitely enjoyed the demo, I have to say I have the same concerns for enemy variety, but also their general visual design. One big issue I had with Anthem was the size and appearance of certain enemies. The enemies (human/humanoid ones) just looked so small and indistinguishable that it felt like you rarely knew what you were shooting at. If you compare to say Destiny, where you have large, recognizable enemies. You can easily determine what species and what type of enemy you were f...

It certainly had it's fair share of bugs, like glitches in the dialogues (audio not synced with mouth movement, weird "broken record" kinda repeats of final words of sentences), and visually still looked kinda rough. Hopefully all things they can fix before April. But all in all, I had a ton of fun playing it, considering how short the demo was, it was just the prologue and some sidequests.

My only concern is that it'll turn out to be another Anthem. I de...

Holdup what are you on about? I've finished MM and then played quite a bit (not quite platinum yet) and not once has the game crashed. The odd bug/glitch here or there sure, but even those were rare.

Keep in mind that ESO is by Zenimax, not Bethesda Game studios, so not the same people who would have been working on TES6. Also, while you may not be one of them (or maybe you are, I don't know you) there was in fact a large demand for an online multiplayer version.

Point being, ESO was made for a certain audience, and as far as I know, it's existence is completely independent from TES6, meaning we wouldn't get TES6 any sooner even if ESO wasn't a thing.

There is just no excuse for KH3 being as bad as it was. Did Disney pressure it and contribute to it being bad? Yes, but even without that, it was just a huge letdown filled with retcons and suddenly making it so everyone survives and nobody can really die. Some people said that the DLC will make it better, but I will not pay 30€ for a 4h DLC. And when Oblivion and Oathkeeper were finally added, I decided to try again, but I couldn't make it trough Hercules world without being overwhelmed ...

Visually the Pirates world was amazing tho, gameplaywise... I honestly can't even remember.

Regarding Cyberpunk 2077: "But if, like me, you play those versions on an Xbox Series X or S, or PlayStation 5 — or on a really good PC for that matter — you’ll see why this easily hooked me with its rich world, wide variety of missions, frantic shooting, and opportunities to hang out with a smug and jaded Keanu Reeves."

1) I did play it on PS5, and while it looks marginally better from a visual standpoint, it is still a big burning pile of buggy mess. It is after...

"I never used the word assume, you're the one doing all the assuming I said common sense which I trust people who suffer with seizures to have, you apparently dont give them enough credit, that's a you problem now go bother someone else."

No you didn't, but you were implying it pretty heavily. Video games can trigger seizures, yes, but not every game does. Hence it makes sense to put a warning label on games that do have a higher chance of triggering. ...

"I don't see why everything has to be an argument. What ever happened to people having a little common sense?"

Having common sense in this case would have been looking at the article and realizing that it will at most result in a warning as the game boots, neat, but no you felt the need to basically say "epileptics should just assume any game can cause a seizure"

Perhaps, but putting a warning on a game is extremely simple and takes nothing away from others. I don't see why you would feel the need to make that comment?

Soggyfalcon, stop looking for conflict that isn't there.

I mean sure, competition is good, but I personally prefer seeing the positive interaction between MS and Sony, rather than the weird bickering certain "fanboys" seem to be pushing.

That's your take from the article? It's literally about Spencer praising Dualsense. And who cares if they copy it? It's a really cool controller, and I wish my friends who prefer Xbox get to experience a similar controller too at some point.

The difference with the positioning of the left stick between PS and Xbox is minimal IMO. Sure, I'm more comfortable with PS positioning, but that's just because I've played just with PS controller for the past 6 years. If I picked up an Xbox controller today, it would still feel comfortable using it. It really comes down to personal preference in the end.

But you're somehow qualified to judge her based on "some of her “takes” on Twitter...and some of the controversies around her."?

"Little unfair to get a job because your super good friends with Barlog and his wife."
This is how networking works though, you get opportunities based on who you know and how well you know them. Don't you think Barlog knows what position he is in and what's at stake? Do you honestly think he would hire/re...

Mine has the jet engine effect FinalFantasyFanatic described. I've opened it up for cleaning twice, but I haven't dared meddle with thermal paste, even though it's supposed to be a relatively easy method.

My last ditch effort was putting the console standing on 4 champagne corks, in hopes that the elevated position would allow for better airflow. Might be in my head or not, but it did seem to help a little :D

May the force be with our senior ...

My issue isn't lack of games or feeling left out because my friends have PS5 (to be fair none of my friends have it either). My problem is that I've had my PS4 since 2014 and it's really starting to be on it's last legs, and I'm mainly worried if it's gonna survive until I get my hands on a PS5
