Go back to your moms basement, no one's gonna miss you if that's your attitude
For me it was mostly the style it was made and the general vibes of the show (same studio as Legend of Korra). And yeah I watched s2 as soon as it came out :)
Not really sure what you're on about, Netflix actually has a pretty solid record with animations so far. Arcane, Dota, Castlevania just to mention a few. And this one is looking solid based on the trailer.
I've heard the opposite, a friend of mine who apparently played Dota for ages said it was one long cringe-fest. On the other hand, I've never played Dota and I absolutely loved it :D
Netflix has a pretty good history with game based animations (Dota, LoL, Castlevania), so this seems promising.
Because even someone like me who hasn't played BotW knows it's open world is pretty amazing, it's not the first or the best, but it is exceptionally good in that regard. Elden Ring has a really good and rewarding open world, unlike many other games that have empty and lifeless massive maps.
Do invasions only start happening after a while into the game or is it behind a setting somewhere? I've gotten to the point where you unlock respecing and haven't been invaded once. Now I'm suspecting maybe I've opted out from being invaded somewhere without thinking.
I mean, I honestly thought it was a bit overhyped at first. Then I bought it on launch day, just because my local store had an insane gaming-sale and got it stupid cheap. And within a few hours of playing I was convinced that the amount of hype was appropriate and well deserved.
Calm down Stacy, nobody's forcing you to use these mods
"This is technically not true. Perhaps you are only looking at item color, but there are many shades of quality within those qualities. There exist items that are on extremely low drop chances that are increased as you play with more or if you grind your way through TVH a ton."
The drop rates are still the same. More players = more enemies = more loot, the odds of certain rarities dropping does not change though.
Well it kinda depends on what your playstyle, or rather how picky you wanna be. My friend usually just follows item scores when determining if it's worth switching to. And then we usually set a minimum value requirement for stuff we pick up just for selling. I personally like comparing perks and stats over the item score, and I am partial to certain weapon types and manufacturers. All in all tho, there is usually so much loot, and so many weapon options that even if you make a bad choice ...
I've played BL2 and BL3 with just me and one friend and we get plenty of good loot. The higher player number just means there's more loot in general, and as such there will be an overall larger number of loot, but you're also splitting it with more people. With more players you increase quantity, not quality.
Aside from having to re-install it because of corrupt data (corrupt data because I never used to quit the game the proper way, lesson learned), I haven't had any issues at all. I can't say there's any reason not to get it right now :)
Obviously no, but it's important to specify even the obvious, when russian propaganda is largely selling the story that they're doing a legal military operation. Keep in mind that a large part of russians are under the impression that Putin isn't doing anything wrong. In this situation, it needs to be expressed explicitly, even on a gaming site if that has even a small chance of spreading awareness among them.
That's literally just gatekeeping though, no matter how you phrase it. To this day I have not heard a single convincing argument for not adding an easier mode to make it more accessible.
The thing is, there are people who would be into the game for the lore and just the general experience, but they don't have a ton of time to put into gaming (work, kids, studies etc.). Obviously it's the devs choice, but I genuinely can't see how having an easy mode would hurt them. The whole "git gud" mentality from fans just sounds like gatekeeping to me. Having an easier mode doesn't need to make the game easy either (God of War on normal had plenty of challenging...
They are both amazing games, they are also very different games and they cater to different tastes.
Elden Ring has tons of things going for it, graphics is not one of their strengths however. From a purely objective standpoint, Horizon is ahead when it comes to graphics, that's not debatable. That doesn't make one game better than another, believe it or not, these are both great games and cater to respective fanbases. I can't believe we're in 2022 and people are still throwing arguments like "But the graphics..."
Where did you get these statistics?
Honestly, I wouldn't hate that, if it was similarly structured as FFXIV with emphasis on story and designed so that you can easily play it by yourself or with friends depending on your preference. Imagine having the different witcher schools and magic factions with varying class options. It wouldn't be easy, but as a concept I think it would have the potential.
