They are both amazing games, they are also very different games and they cater to different tastes.
Elden Ring has tons of things going for it, graphics is not one of their strengths however. From a purely objective standpoint, Horizon is ahead when it comes to graphics, that's not debatable. That doesn't make one game better than another, believe it or not, these are both great games and cater to respective fanbases. I can't believe we're in 2022 and people are still throwing arguments like "But the graphics..."

They really need to (at least temporarily) shorten the time before you get logged out for AFK. When I've actually gotten in, there are a whooole lot of people with the afk marker. I'm looking at you, half-naked idlers of Limsa-Lominsa...

As far as I know the price will be around 40€ which is absolutely disgusting for a game that's 10 years old, somewhat polished and they slapped on a bunch of mods created by players...

It's not like that's any better though. What exactly suggests that it's BS? If anything, recent studies have shown that we really don't know a whole lot on how gender and sex works. The thing is, there are people who would be into the game for the lore and just the general experience, but they don't have a ton of time to put into gaming (work, kids, studies etc.). Obviously it's the devs choice, but I genuinely can't see how having an easy mode would hurt them. The whole "git gud" mentality from fans just sounds like gatekeeping to me.
