Not sure Midnight Suns deserves that shoutout, I barely made it past the first act before it grew too stale and repetitive to continue and there was nothing more to explore/discover in the base... Might pick it back up again after a break but overall pretty disappointed.
Guardians of the Galaxy tho, that one was a masterpiece. Admittedly I was super sceptical when it was revealed, fortunately a friend then bought it and convinced me it was worth it.
It looks neat, but so did Black Desert Online and we know how that turned out...
Don't know what has gotten you this emotional, but clearly you're upset about something. Hope you manage to sort out whatever you're working trough, take care.
Lol sending threats on DM's and then blocking me? Must have hit a nerve old man.
Aww, careful now, your age's showing
86/100 on metacritic (86 reviews), not really sure what you're on about...
Seems like a weird thing to be upset about, just uninstall other games and make space for it. With internet speeds these days it doesn't exactly take long to install stuff. Also move stuff that doesn't benefit that much from the SSD on an external harddrive.
You say you're not including 14 because it's an mmo, but it's honestly an amazing game that represents FF very well in my opinion. And it's a great entry point since you can play the base and first few major expansions for free. And they've actually changed it up along the way so you can comfortably play it solo most of the way. Definitely recommend giving it a try in the very least.
"I get maybe the younger audience just can't focus long enough without losing interest but I feel square should try."
Generalizing just a tad there arent you? I personally do prefer "button mashers" as you so graciously phrased it, some of my recent favourites being Elden Ring, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima and FF7R. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy turn based games. However, as long as FF games tend to be, I do believe action rpg is a better ...
You mean the students that made this game as a graduation project? Bet they used all that spicy income they get from the free game.
What does chatgpt even have to do with this? I honestly don't see the point with your comment at all.
Did you even read the post? It's a graduation project by a group of students. It's a short, complete game and it's free.
I feel like I have the same issue with leaving a party, although that was improved upon recently, but it still feels like it's behind too many presses. I do aknowledge how damn priviledged I have to be to be bothered by something like that tho xD
I used to be excited about Forspoken, then I played the demo...
Sure, I'm obviously hoping they will fix it by the time of release, but because of the demo I am most definitley not pre-ordering (I mean I never do these days anyway, but still), and I'm unlikely to buy it even day one. I'm actually more inclined to wait for it to be on a significant sale.
Downgrades and graphic quality aside, I am still put off by Square Enix's vastly outdated UI. Like with most FF games they still seem to insist on microscopic headache i...
I tried around with the settings quite a bit and pretty sure that's not the issue. It looks nothing like the reveal from 2020. And looking around at the coments here, I can tell it's not just in my head or up to my setup. As a PS5 (timed) exclusive I would expect more.
I like the concept, and the potential of moveset/style... but it did not look great visually. Might as well have been a ps4 game the way it looked. It also has the typical Square Enix styled UI that is microscopic so reading anything is a pain, most enemies and items completely blend into the poorly rendered surroundings, only distinguishable by a tiny white dot. My eyes were burning within 10min of playing the demo. I recently played Assassins Creed: Odyssey (because it was on sale and I'...
I dunno, I feel like Kratos has had a pretty good run and his character arch is pretty well fleshed out already. Not to mention he kinda got his "happily ever after" ending already. Having him as a main protagonist again is likely going to get stale and repetitive.
Atreus's journey however has only just started and whenever we played him in Ragnarok it mainly felt like a teaser. The fact that his gameplay was simplified now, only leaves room for growth if he ...

"Shocked Pikachu face"
About time too, there's only so much they can cram into the original timeline without running into plotholes/inconsistencies/retc ons. Also I wanna see new characters and adventures. We don't need more OG trilogy cameos
