The first season starts out alright, I liked the general concept of the VR game and everyone getting trapped in it, it's cool. But then it very quickly becomes heavily a harem thing, with weird tentacle fetish and insest vibes. Oh and did I mention almost all the characters are children?

To be fair, the only reason they keep doing this is because there are enough people out there who are dumb enough to buy these cosmetics...

Wasn't implying anything about enjoying a job or not, just found the casual humble brag about the importance of your job amusing.

Okay but why preorder tho? Threre is literally no benefit and safer to wait a bit to make sure there's no MT fuckover. Early access does not sound very appealing either since it's gonna be queuing hell.

Same, never played Diablo before, but I did play during the open beta and it was enough to convince me (unless something really bad is revealed along with the release)

Keep waiting, I'm sure someone will applaud your devotion to your important job.

Calm down it was a 10min clip of the gameplay, and it was a chase scene. Personally this is a way more entertaining way of doing a chase scene, compared to the ones we had in the first game, like Shocker and Black Cat where you just swinged after them for a few minutes. But more than anything else, did you even see the symbiote suit? How fucking amazing it looked? The symbiote suit was my main concern, since it's one of my favourite sides of Spidey, and I couldn't be happier with the ...

Maybe I use the term hybrid a bit liberally, I mainly meant the way it was possible to travel along a large part of the included world. You were free to travel to different parts of Midgar to explore and do sidequests etc. That for me is close enough to open world to call it hybrid. It's not literally open world like Skyrim, Witcher, etc. But you have freedom to explore.
Yes, it was linear, I absolutely agree, but it wasn't like, say DMC5 where you only visit specific locati...

It looks pretty great, I never played the original though for some reason, can't remember why. The Netflix show was atrocious though, but I'm hoping it doesn't reflect what the game will be like.

I'm not surprised it's over 21M, the game seemed fun and somewhat unique. I waited for a sale before getting it though, and I have a feeling most of those 21M had the same experience as me: played for a few hours only to realize how repetitive the game gets and then forgot about it.

Some games benefit from a large open world map, others don't. Personally I think FF benefits from a hybrid like FF7R: freedom to move around and explore once areas become available, but still distinct separate zones that are tied to the main story.

Much like Isildur with the one ring, this game too should have been cast into the fire.

"after Luke Skywalker bent a molten blaster bolt around a corner, and through a tiny hole in The Death Star, while flying an X-wing in space. And all despite having next to no training in how to use The Force."

Not to mention having next to no experience in piloting a fighter

That's a bit of a stretch. I loved the game, it was an amazing action filled pack and you could do so much weird shit (admittedly the sequel wasn't as great). However, under no point did I ever have any trouble separating it from Star Wars canon. The game has exagerated force powers because it's fun, everyone knows it's not lore-accurate. It's the same as the final boss of The Matrix game. The game almost ends as the movie, but then we get a message from the Wachowski sist...

Like others have commented, I don't think I want a GoT2, I feel like the first game wrapped up very well and a sequel might end up feeling watered down. I'd much rather see a new Infamous, or perhaps a remake of the original!

Not gonna miss it being there, but I think optional co-op in free-roaming (doing mini-missions, events etc) could have been a cool optional feature. Then again any optional features like that always mean there are aditional things that could break.

@broncob Nope, I genuinely enjoyed it. It was extremely well made, a cool adaption and had the same feel as back when I first saw LotR. People just review bombed it either because they're bigots or boomers with their "iT's nOt aCcUrAte tO sIlMaRiLlIon".
