Apparently this guy had someone else call in the SWAT, and that guy got 20 years. But I feel like the person who ordered the hit should get the same. Does the person who hires the hitman not get as much time?
I find it dumb someone even officially named it. Cross, X, who cares... however, me and all my gaming friends and even family that doesnt game always call it an X when they try and play or something.
Edit: after reading other comments. Cross makes sense, but I'll still call it X.
I went back and actually read the proof they had of his jokes and I defintely dont approve of his jokes. As far as the other stuff, it's all he said she said. Some accounts said they never saw any of that and he would be fine to work with... while other had horror stories. I know I lot of fragile people who make things seem way worse than they actually were.
But the proof we have of his Skype chats and his jokes, yeah you dont joke that way with your employees... well t...
Edit: after reading the actual transcriptions from Rodriguez himself. It's hard to defend the things he said. He made some pretty offensive jokes and dropping the hard N word and such. As far as him supposedly forcing drinks and or apparently firing the fat guy for not participating... I mean, there isnt much proof. The guy seemed brash and a total "Bro" with how he treated his employees if those allegations are true, but the actual proof of his poor racial jokes is hard to defe...
So instead of confronting the publisher and their people and getting their story on what's going on and if the allegations are true... you go ahead and cut ties based on a Kotaku article... ah yes, the world we live in.
No... no thanks.
@generic
Was it Konami's fault for the barren open world? Recycling the side missions at the same settlements? Bad AI?Streamlined Stealth? Putting his credits before and after every single mission? There was a lot more wrong with MGSV then it's completely unfinished 3rd act.
P.T. being considered as one of the greatest horror "games" of all time is so much shit lol It was a freaking hallway recycled over and over with a bit of jump scares. How anyone found that scary is beyond me and a prime example of how overrated Kojima is in the industry if we are calling THAT one of the greatest horror games of all time. I was excited for Silent Hill, but P.T. was lame as hell.
@TengHu
MGSV
Yep, had to buy a 3rd party peripheral to make it comfortable. Or I just play it 90% docked anyway.
For real? I wont give them a click then
@IRetrouk
Lol did you just try to compare Gears to this? Let me give you the differences here. Gears has multiple things to stop and find on your journey, often times that lead to be fun combat and boss fights. Gears doesn't have you stop and rest and sooth a baby and rub your shoulders and bathe and other tedious things. Gears has fun transportation and you dont have to worry about loading too heavy of packages that will slow you down. Gears main focus isnt delivering ...
There is such a thing as something being unique AND boring. Your solution is to wait in see or that I should just have faith in Kojima. I dont work that way. We asked Kojima to gives us a glimpse at a mission and he showed it to us. It's exactly as I predicted, mostly a slow burn exploration game with some light combat mechanics thrown in. He even told us a long time ago that the game was going to be mostly a journey. I'm sorry, but delivering packages isnt something that gets me goin...
I mean, GamePass launched with Sea of Thieves which was less than 2 years ago and we already got two stellar games and 2 not so stellar and 1 middle of the road.
Stellar:
Forza Horizon 4
Gears 5
Middle:
State of Decay 2
Not so Stellar:
Sea of Thieves (although arguably this has gotten much better since launch)
Crackdown 3
Plus all the top tier 3rd party games that launched ...
@Oldboy
This is true, but I'm betting he just cut out him running around trying to punch out enemies and stuff. There wasn't really much going on in that scene. I also dont like that there is a cut away scene for entering and exiting vehicles... that was pretty jarring flicking between.
Things I liked:
-Visuals are stunning.
-Draw distance and anti aliasing are great.
-I like the idea of the Souls-like interactivity with other players. Sending out a call for help and people can send you some items from ammo to exploration tools.
-I like the idea of risk/reward for sneaking into a base and stealing potentially better items like that speed boost exosuit. Or just going around and skipping.
-I like that there are vehicles (even though...
Reviews don't mean much with Kojima considering MGSV got so many 10's when it absolutely didn't deserve such praise.
I'm confused, so a "borderlands super fan" would have rather played Cyberpunk than his favorite series?
This may be one of the more cringey opinion projections I have ever seen.
