*SPOILERS*
So there is a big focus in Gears 5 that shows how facist the COG are or becoming. We find out that the reason JD, Del, and Kait deserted the COG was because of orders to shoot down large groups protesting the COG. Turns out JD actually made the order. This caused quite a rift in the group and why Del and Kait go off by themselves. There is plenty of dialogue and collectables and things around the city were it happened to memorialize what happened...
Well, we gotta complain about something
There is enough story moments for you to enjoy and get involved in some lore and characters, but the focus is action and I'm okay with that.
Eh, I dont think so. However, Gears Tactics fits the Gears world much better than a FPS considering Gears is all about cover shooting.
Gears doesnt need to replicate a deep narrative.
I disagree. The story is a good balance between tough and emotional. There are still some hard hitting points in Gears, always have been, but it doesnt dwell too long before getting back to the good stuff.
It dives deeper into locust origins and cog characters, we get more of how the outsiders view the cog as fascists, we got actual character development for some characters (wish they would have done a bit more), we got a lot more details on places we only ever heard of... ...
Fun?
We obviously dont know the dealings, but I remember seeing that Insomniac wanted to do a sequel but only needed a publisher. If MS was willing they could have stepped up and funded a sequel. Maybe they offered and Insomniac declined? Who knows, but I think MS should have pursued a sequel.
That is so toxic. Untitled Goose Game is radicalizing toxic behavior
Yes? No? Maybe?
The thing is... there is nothing in the Epic store to keep customers in their store. So they can buy up all the exclusives they want, but they won't retain anyone with their terrible store.
That was based on Capcoms digital revenue or something right? People were speculating it was from DMCV, Monster Hunter, and possibly an RE2 reveal as well. but none of that is confirmed
Contra rogue corp is terrible though.
I agree, I do really wish they would have pursued a sequel for it. In that sense, yes, they definitely dropped the ball.
Saying that MS dropped the ball on this one makes it sound like you didnt like the game or something.
While I agree that Spider 2 is a priority, the rest can wait. I'd rather get a sequel to a fantastic game then some remakes or reboots.
The movement system was their main inspiration for Spider-Man. It was basically the precursor to the fantastic movement we got in Spidey
But as Fallen said... they just published it. And it was a fantastic title anyway. I bet if it was a Sony game y'all would he singing a different tune on it.
So no penis, no nipples on the breasts, and no detailed vaginal area... so he made them Barbie Dolls?
