Do they make out with anyone in intros or something?
lol right? Energy drinks and coffee and such has always been a staple of Japanese games for energy replacements, but for the most part it's always been non discript products. But having an actual brand name seems strange, especially since no other products are related to our reality in America. Just seems like out of place product placement.
Yet here is a PS exclusive that is promoting to drink it to boost energy lol
Next up is Ori 2 and then Halo Infinite.
We all knew it...
There are so many factors that aren't accounted for here and honestly some of the numbers dont even add up.
Plus, Epic isnt giving deals to all indie devs, just the ones that already have a larger following which at that point would have already sold well on steam also.
I'm still waiting for Deep Down, Agent, and The Getaway 3 as well.
You aren't.
Hopefully itll be the last Smash and this just continues to evolve.
And 18 and 17 and 16...
17.8/10 sounds right
Why use a photo of Death Stranding about a 2020 article? Ah yes, for the clicks.
I think it's more that when you die you lose a portion of your Guilt and you have the opportunity to recover it where you died unless you die again. That is a very Souls-Like mechanic.
@Crazy
I noticed plenty of bad textures in God of War also, but the overall look and design is fantastic. Even the most beautiful games will still have bad textures if you get up in the nitty gritty. I dare you to get to the part where the world serpent dips down into the lake and open his mouth, but row past his mouth and follow his body... his body textures look like smeared bubble gum.
But I'm not trying to talk crap on GoW, it's a beautiful ga...
The thing with comparing Gears to these other games is that you have to factor in that it is also running at 60fps, unlike GoW and UC4 and the games Angelic listed. It also only sacrifices down to 30fps when it does splitscreen co-op which again is something those other games don't provide.
I'd be willing to bet that Gears 5 could have surpassed these other titles in raw visuals if it didn't have to hit 60fps or have split-screen co-op to accommodate for.
Same here, hopefully in Gears 6 they dive deeper into some of the RPG mechanics and flesh out the open world areas with some dynamic fights, possibly some enemy vehicles that you will fight during exploration, etc.
But the actual story, varied locations, enemies, and character writing has jumped up significantly since 4 so they are on the right track there. Hopefully they add in some new more over the top weapons as well. But all and all I'm very happy with Gears 5 and ...
I'm pretty sure I'm at like 15 hours and I just got to Act 4. Been playing on Experienced difficulty and making sure to get all the jack upgrades and ultimates as well as all the side missions and as many collectibles and relic weapons as I can find. Probably end the game around 20 hours which is a lot longer than most Gears games.
Just got to Act 4 and loving it so far. And to think I still haven't even touched Horde, and barely scratched Versus and Escape. Plus I still need do an Insane run and finish up collectibles and stuff...
So much content.
Looks like it will be another 4v1 game where a player plays as the Jigsaw like guy. Setting up traps, activating enemies, putting on the gloves to control Mr. X all to stop the group of 4 from escaping or completing their missions.
I personally don't care for what I saw, and I do think that cavern jump animation was absolutely terrible. BUT but but the reason he can run so fast in that section and jump that far was because of the EXO suit he equipped from that lock box.
