Yeah MS owns Obsidian now, and even though The Outer Worlds has little to do with MS, all Xbox studio games are day 1 GamePass.
That goes for InXiles Wasteland 3 as well.
We have seen plenty of reports saying that GamePass has even helped some games sell more just from the added exposure. And since MS moved over all of their reporting to Users instead of sales. All they care about is getting people in by bulk and then letting their subs and ecosystem do the rest.
If anything I can see them discontinue doing so many $1 or $2 dollar deals in the future though for sure. But they seem happy with the performance of GamePass so far, so they must b...

I play Gears on my PC all the time with my Xbox controller bluetooth.
Scaling down physics? Dynamic weather storms that alter weaponry, cover systems, and vehicle physics. Realistic snow and sand physics that have multi layered effects. Sprawling open levels with vehicle physics. Being able to shoot ice on the lakes and drop enemies through it. Shoot down ice stalagmites to take out enemies... yeah some superficial things like extra concrete doesnt break or sand pour out of bags, but there is so much more going on in 5 as well as hitting 60fps during all this. ...
Yes more concrete and benches are destructible in Gears 1 and it has some other smaller attention to detail like sand bags and cans reacting more realistic. But Gears 5 also has dynamic weather systems that have their own physics on weapons and cover. Ice and sand stone cover can be broken and in cases where there is a storm it can be used against enemies. Ice stalagmites that can be shot down on enemies. There is still plenty of destruction and physics going on in 5. Not to mention all weapo...
