Stfu. The MP was fantastic. The game launched with SP AND MP so what makes it just a "single player" game?
Some people are saying that it might come later, but I wish ND would come out and confirm something.
So this is why Sony decided not to fund an MP mode for TLoU2... they spent their money on a CoD MP mode.
Makes sense now.
Not faithful to the MP community though.
So why did they confirm that with IGN and other outlets? Is someone intentionally being a cunt? Lol
Oh save it. ND has more than enough resources and help from other teams and Sony to get it done. They have been putting MP modes in their games since UC3 so spare me that load of bull.
In one month UC4 made $56million dollars off their MP microtransactions. Dont tell me that they couldn't have spent the time and added it.

Yep, very upset right now tbh. I can't believe they cut the MP even though thousands still play the first online, and the fact just last year they confirmed MP would be in the game.
Imagine they added in a MP mode that mixed in clickers, so battles would require more stealth and traps and instead of just open firefights. Or an infected mode where someone plays as a clicker... they could have done so much. Very upset they cut the MP.
It's crazy considering just last year the co-director confirmed Factions was coming back and MP would be in TLoU2.

I really hope they can get something together. Daggerfall was my first foray into TES and it's been a top 5 franchise since. Unfortunately, Bethesda has been slowly casualizing TES and after all of their recent mess ups... I don't have the confidence in them anymore.
I'm actually much happier we are getting a full MoH in VR. This was a pleasant surprise.
Jesus... you dont even know if it's her girlfriend that get shot in that scene. Hell you dont even know if ANYONE gets shot in that scene. They may just have shot to scare her or something to submit as she is being pinned.
They said It's a new AAA RPG IP that will use the unreal engine 4, have a full night/day cycle, focus on melee and long range combat.
Doesn't mean they can't work on both, or swap between IP's like ND was doing with Uncharted and TLoU.
"Though we’ve seen far more ambitious entries in the genre over the past year or two."
Please name these other 2D platformers that have been more ambitious then Ori? You make a claim like that but don't even give an example. The only games that I would put up with Ori is maybe Celeste and Hollow Knight. Not many 2D platformers offer an emotional story that also provides some fantastic visuals and an amazing soundtrack as well as very solid gameplay.
Not calling you a fanboy, but you know how some get when it comes to exclusivity haha I don't think The Outer Worlds will sell quite like what Minecraft has, and that is IF they make The Outer Worlds a full series with a sequel. Obsidian already posted on linkedIn just last week they are hiring more people for a new AAA RPG IP. So this could be a one and done game and they will move on to their next new idea.
So while Obsidian's contract holds them to a multiplat re...
I don't think he meant that console sales don't matter. It's that companies, even sony, have stated that at least for the first year or two they typically sell their consoles at a loss and make that up with software and services. So, not that console sales don't matter, but console sales don't exactly make them money alone.
On the other hand, you can't sell a shit ton of software without the console sooo you gotta sell those at a loss if you want to ...
Looks like he ate an entire bakery of humble pie... I kid I kid
I guess you can say that, but when you have over 120million player base, you gotta figure that people and children are going to assume when they see a Minecraft game that they'll be able to keep playing it on all the other platforms. Plus, that install base is way too much to just throw away for some fanboy exclusivity points.
Lol true. I'm glad they addressed it though. Still bummed it's not coming at launch, but I'm glad that it's not canceled. You think they will launch it as a standalone MP expansion?
