I love my RPG's, but there can be a level where gameplay systems and mechanics become too tedious and cumbersome. Especially when they start doing too much on survival and constant tinkering.
But we will see
That's their biggest problem. They can pull people in with paid exclusives, but they won't retain any customers because their store is terrible.
Some games are just a bore to watch.
So a bunch of games we have already been playing for years? And games that we have been playing without input latency...

Never a ful...
You may get lucky. I was one of the very few who never got the red ring of death with my launch 360... so anything can happen Haha
Huh? Last gen MS wasn't keeping entire modes exclusive for a year... they just had a month early access to new DLC.
Activision and Sony have been really greedy lately. Between CoD and how they had maps and strikes and weapons exclusive on Destiny for over a year...
I have drift in 3 of the 4 joycons I have... extremely annoying. Makes me not want to pick up the switch because I can't keep buying and sending back controllers.
My question that I wish they would clarify is how will the MP come later? They said twice in that tweet that TLoU2 will not be getting the MP. If it was just delayed they would have said "we are sorry, but with the focus on the expansive SP we will have to delay the MP for TLoU2, but it will come at a later date."
They confirmed they are working on something, but made it clear it wont be for TLoU2. To me that sounds like they are making it its own thing or a stand...
Lol okay. I'm excited for the game, but I personally feel this is bullshit that they are cutting out the MP. Just because I'm not rolling over and accepting it doesnt mean I'm just trying to troll. You can check my comment history and I've been very positive and excited for TLoU2... but that's when I thought we were getting the full package.
For me, i spent way more time in the MP then I did SP, but that doesnt mean I'd be okay with the SP being cut....
@P_Bomb & TOTSUKO
Except GTA:O and RDR2:O were free add ons to the game. What I gathered from that Tweet was that the MP won't be coming to TLoU2, but has evolved into something else bigger within the TLoU world.
Which means they cut it and are now going to resell it later as a stand alone or an entirely new full game later. I hope I'm wrong, but that Tweet made it seem like it's going to be its separate thing and not attached to TLoU2.
Okay? Cool?
No it shouldn't be like that because they haven't been SP first since UC3. They have since always launched with a MP mode, and it's always been popular, and it's always bringing in a ton of money.
Nothing in that tweet was clear, at all. Do we have a time frame? Is it just an update? Is it a stand alone purchase? Will it be a completely new game within the TLoU universe? The Tweet was dumb and doesn't tell us anything other then they are working on it. T...
Can't surpass the original without half of the game... Sorry.
Which is bull. They basically cut it so they can package it as something else and sell it. Even though the first game still had a 15 hour story, brilliantly done, AND a fantastic MP that grew and evolved as well.
I'm not buying any excuse that the most prolific dev in the industry right now, with the backing of the biggest publisher, couldn't find time to do the MP. I mean they already have the ground work from the first game... you add some tweaks to incorporate ne...
That really sucks if ND/Sony decided to cut out the MP in TLoU2 to sell separately. Absolutely a shitty thing to do. If they are just taking extra time and will launch it a month later after release or whatever for free as an update then I'm fine with that. But that Tweet was nothing, it wasn't assuring, it was basically just a "yeah we hear you and we are doing something still with the MP, but we don't know when or how we will launch it".
Yay so now we have to pay extra for a mode that should have already been included in the package. If they make this a standalone I'll be very annoyed.
@Solid
I know man, I was just joking haha
That a shame you limit your experiences :/
@Zeref
It was going to break records regardless, it was hardly because of the Epic Store lol
But sure, as long as they keep dropping millions on getting year exclusives they will have a player base. But how long can they keep that up?
