Oh yeah man, that SNES Spawn game was hard as heck but uber-fun.
That very first stage of that game is just so epic with Spawn starting off on the rooftops of the city. That song that plays in that stage is unbelievable. I've been looking around trying to find an orchestrated version of that song.
If Spawn gets a new game they need to just play that first stage of the SNES game to understand how it needs to look and feel. That game was so badass.
That's almost kind of badass.
Spawn is probably one of the most popular yet underrated anti-heroes out there. Everyone knows who he is but he only gets crap games.
This gets me thinking...Rocksteady needs to tackle a Spawn game. That game would be so mind-blowing...
No, you and your kind are complacent money cows.
Me and many other REAL gamers helped put the big publishers where they are today because WE paid money for products that we liked. We continued to support them with OUR money so they could reinvest into the hobby WE helped turn profitable.
Your logic is about as bad as people defending big government spending, it's like you're saying "All you people complaining about jobs, health care, cost of li...
The biggest problem with your argument griggsman is that you come across as complacent, as if your $60 is well spent on something that at least works as opposed to something that should be great.
I'm sorry but without mods it's impossible for me to play GTA IV, mainly because the graphics suck without the iCEnhancer (just play both versions to see the difference), there are only two or three variants of vehicles on screen at any given one time and there are still fra...
Very logical, very well thought out post.
I agree.
Some of the bigger problems reside, however, with the publishers. It doesn't matter if we have a clean, well maintained system (the Wii was pretty stable save for its poor online functionality) if publishers are always looking at bottom lines then console manufacturers are still screwed and thus, gamers are screwed.
I think Nintendo should have been more forthcoming with core titles to ...
Games that don't hold back PC gamers?
If you want to keep playing on the current gen consoles that's fine. But like others have mentioned, some of us are ready to play more than just rehashes, sequels and threequals.
I'm ready to play an open world game with fully destructible environments that don't fade away every 5 seconds.
I'm also ready to play a game that doesn't have the same two vehicles on screen for 20 minu...
Where you use PS Move and Kinect to try to get those underwear over that skin-tight spandex? Yeah I bet a lot of gamers will get a real workout trying to get that fat-man in that tiny blue suit. You could even get extra bonus points for keeping the sausage in the wrapper.
Dude, you're gonna get another Call of Duty in 2012 so why even add that to the list? It's an annual release.
Gears 3 and Uncharted 3 were great for their respective purposes but neither were groundbreaking. Skyrim was an evolved form of Oblivion, again, it wasn't groundbreaking just really well done for what it offered. The same could be said of Battlefield 3 and Crysis 2.
A lot of what we had were better versions of good concepts. I know I'...
Why was his post offensive?
Is there some sort of in-joke I'm missing?
Yeah it does.
Concept wise it least looks more thrilling than a lot of other games.
I just hope it's not another run-and-gun shooter, and if it does have co-op hopefully it's the kind where you actually have to work together to try to survive like Killing Floor. That would be pretty cool.
Man, you fail.
Pong FPS: Modern Paddles confirmed, son.
Nah dude, the interwebz is mostly pro-gay...the real world isn't.
Obviously.
This would just see the sales for the franchise plummet like crazy. There's a reason why a lot of young males look up to someone like Drake and it's not because he likes dropping soap.
Doesn't that also completely destroy the "we don't choose to be gay we're born that way" since Drake was clearly with Chloe?
You speak truth. Rockstar is the best, hands-down.
Their DLC ain't overpriced and you get a whole, whole, whole lot out of it. Their games are timeless and they always step out of the box. Yep, it's Rockstar for me.
Ubisoft really hates PC gamers...and it's hard for me to say they publish good games when they blatantly make it known that one of my beloved platforms is hated in their eyesight. I put THQ above Ubisoft, at least they don't DRM us to death and they at least don't smacktalk to their potential consumers
EDIT: I also think Rockstar is above Acti/EA just because they aren't evil like the other two.
This is why Steam is better than EA Link/EA Store/Origin.
Electronic Arts never figured out that gamers love great customer support and good deals on a variety of games.
I feel kind of guilty for all the games I bought over this holiday season from Steam because of all the awesome deals, lol.
Honestly Dungeon Defenders was the best multiplayer game of the year for me. But I'm the sort that's always looking for something that isn't another generic rip-off or iteration of something else.
It's a spit in the face of the industry that Dungeon Defenders wasn't even added to the list, and that game has some of the best multiplayer cooperative fun I've played since Borderlands.
Better graphics than Vindictus? They did have a beta for SW: TOR over the weekend but I'm sorry, Vindictus is still the best looking MMO I've played followed closely by Black Prophecy. SW: TOR would need a lot of patches to come up to that standard.
And the combat is about identical to Allods (have you ever played that?) basically it's roll-dice hidden under some snazzy animations.
Before you praise TOR you should play Allods first to know what I'm tal...
In reply to your comment about "waiting to release Gears of War", you are incorrect sir, Gears of War was already in development and if possible, would have been a launch title.
They didn't wait at all they were actually rushing, which is why Gears had a lot of texture tearing and poor streamlined loading. Kushan is correct, it's a bidding war for engines and the sooner Epic gets something out the sooner more people will license the UE for "next-gen&qu...
