At least some sites are calling out Cliffy B.

Not all of us can afford Lamborghini's and buy $110 worth of DLC trapped behind a paywall on a $60 disc.

I'm sorry but Jim Sterling actually writes stuff in favor of consumers and the game community.

Not many big sites out there actually care about gamers. Whether you like Destructoid or not at least Sterling and crew are pro-consumer...a rarity in today's gaming media climate.

You're ignoring that these microtransactions WILL eventually take away from the actual game.

Do you honestly think that shareholders believe in maintaining the integrity of a game? Or respecting the art or time or effort that the developer puts into the title? You're deluded if you think that shareholders care.

If EA is abusing microtransactions in all their free-to-play games they'll further abuse it in retail games. It's not a matter of &quo...

WTF kind of shill article is this? GTFO with this pro-EA business.

These are the kind of idiots who will eventually defend more games like Real Racing 3 where microtransactions ARE mandatory. How long do you think it'll be before those kind of cash shop practices make it into $60 - $70 retail games?

Have you forgotten the evils of EA so quickly? Man, gaming press fails.

...and this folks is the kind of comment you get after someone has played one too many Hentai RPGs.

This game needs to be Kickstarted! Seriously, more sites need to be covering this game so people will know and pledge funds.

I wish we had more games like this!

I guess one was like Ayn Rand while the other is more like Benedictus De Spinoza.

No Edge of Space?

My disappointment seethes beyond the description of mere words.

Didn't you know? N4G hates Nintendo.

@Domination

How on earth could you call that the "boring" parts?

Gamers just found out that Sony is basically making the PS4 an open-invitation to every developer out there, with easier tools, an easier-to-use CPU/GPU and memory architecture and it's a really powerful system to boot!

I don't know about you but that was NOT boring in the least. It squashed one of my biggest fears for the PS4 and it's looking like it migh...

A troll came out from under the bridge just long enough to disagree with you, and then disappeared under the cobblestone archway again.

But yeah, your description of the event is about spot on to how I would imagine it to be, complete with twitter and live-streaming gamers saying "Enough about PSP, get on with it, show us the PS4!!!"

It's exciting because it's like E3 without all the E3.

As much as I would love to champion the Wii U version...
this happened:

I imagine the Wii U version might be on hold so that they can attempt to bring it up to parity (as best they can) to the E3 demo.

But in this scenario, it'd be best not to hold out on hope.

The reviews are basing their opinions off the finished product. You've only played a mission.

You can only say the game isn't as bad as the reviews until you've finished the game.

Some games start well and end bad, others have a few decent moments but are brought down with poor gameplay that permeates the experience.

The guy you just described sounds like a douche bag who I would punch in the face a lot.

I'm sure glad I haven't bought any games with a douche bag like that on the cover, otherwise I might punch the box until it breaks.

Brothers in Arms is good.

Agreed.

I hate that gamers keep them in business and I hate it more when gamers defend them for piss-poor products.

"We needs to give dem teh money, becauz teh needs teh money"

Is anyone even still playing that cash-in version of Syndicate they published?

People are real stupid sometimes.

Well said.

Just shows how broken video game journalism is.

Unbiased reviews my foot. An MMO launches with bugs galore from some no-name company and it gets hammered.

An indie game launches with some problems and it gets hammered.

A big budget AAA title launches with a terrible ending, always-on DRM that won't even let you play (take note some reviewers weren't even able to play Diablo 3 for the first week it launche...
