This is great. Socom is making all the hack game journalists crawl out of the woodwork. Anyone who has actually played this game will tell you it's not deserving of anything near a 3. Not to say that it is a 10, but the poorly written and shoddy reasoning of some sites (Destructoid is another one) needs to be addressed. Hang your heads in shame.
So what are you saying? He doesn't like what he likes?
Article could also be titled "SOCOM 4 Rewards People Who Buy It New". Depends on how you look at it...
Whoops...let's try that again...
This is all that needs to be said...
Well they actually had no interest in making MW2..
Am I the only person getting Socom 4 and Portal 2?
Maybe this is all a ploy:
1. Early adopter buys Kinect
2. Realizes there are no good games for it
3. Waits for games
4. Lose patience
5. Returns Kinect
6. A year later, Microsoft announces a few good games
7. Microsoft lowers Kinect price
8. Microsoft gets a nice boost in sales from people re-buying Kinect
Actually the settlement was reached days before Anonymous announced their attacks. They're probably even more mad since their cause is moot.
Honestly I don't think Sony ever intended to win this case. Any outcome would have made them look bad. Instead they put Geohot through the wringer and made him sweat for a bit. Because everything Sony's lawyers did was legal. People didn't like that the judge allowed it but if it was truly outside the law, it could've been struck down. Did people actually think the court was going to rule in favor of a 20-something kid who produces nothing, employs no one, and only works for t...
the stuff you buy isn't always 100% yours to do what you want. There are always rules and guidelines regarding things you purchase. If you buy a car, you could put a jet engine on the back if you wanted to. But don't be surprised if you get a shitload of fines and tickets driving down the road at 120 mph.
Any adult knows this truth. I live in a state where the tint on my windows can only legally be so dark. I live in a city that is run by a housing association that ca...
I bet you're praying that Microsoft never pisses off Anonymous. With the number of people MS has banned from Live, it's only a matter of time.
Whatever happened to peaceful protest? If you don't like the way Sony conducts business, don't buy their products. Tell your friends about how "evil" and "oppressive" Sony is. We know the damage Anonymous has done over the years but when have they done anything productive? Aside from the digital equivalent of lighting a bag of dog crap in front of someone's door.
Shouldn't Anonymous wait until AFTER a decision is made in any of Sony's court cases before doing anything? They're saying Sony is abusing the court system but I wonder if they would respect the system if it doesn't rule in their favor.
The first game I bought Day One on ps3. Short but lots of fun.
I watch Fringe and I always had a feeling that I knew Anna Torv (star of the show) from something else. A quick look at imdb and I find out she did the voice and motion capture for Nariko. She was great in it.
Wait, there was a game called Jar Jar's Revenge?
It all depends on how big the rock is.
I thought Modern Warfare 3 is held up until the Zampella and West/ Activision lawsuit is resolved.
Exactly. It's a double-edged sword. Publishers want the pre-orders and day one sales but everyone now knows the game is going to be cheaper in a few months, sometimes weeks. If you wait long enough, you can buy the game and get the dlc for less than the actual cost of the game. On the other hand, if everyone waits, the game doesn't make enough money. There are a bunch of games that have come out in the last few years that were good but didn't get the sales to warrant a sequel (I s...
The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world to buy Kinect.
