Imagine how the people who bought Medal of Honor feel as they wait to get in the BF3 beta.
I'm so bored with this case by now. I wish I never heard of this nuisance called Geohot. Whatever the outcome, nothing will change. If he wins, Sony isn't going to put OtherOS back in the ps3 (like I would ever use it if they did). If Sony wins, it's not going to stop the cracker/hacker/pirate community. In fact, they'll hold him up as champion or martyr depending on which way the wind blows.
How about we all get on with our lives? Play whatever games you leg...
I have a code from kz3 I don't need. Already in the beta thanks to ps+.
You'd think with the amount of characters Sony has, why haven't they created their own fighting game?
Batman too triumphant? No such thing.
So people who don't use Home would if they had a trophy room? I don't buy it.
I wonder how many people who bought it still have it (on all consoles). I was done with mine after a week and traded it in.
A lot of these fixes are for balance which is impossible to adjust for until the game is out in the wild. You never know what people are going to bitch about. "This gun needs to be nerfed, this ability is overpowered, cheaters found this exploit" and so on. Name one multiplayer game that was perfect at launch. Hell, they're still patching MW2! It sucks but what can you do? I'll admit that there are lazy devs out there and testing would help, but there is no way to catch ever...
Because a lot of people want online multiplayer in their games. Them's the breaks, kid.
I'm not being mean but what the hell would be the purpose of a trophy room?
How many of those 8 million Kinects sold are to people who didn't already own 360s? Half? Much less than that?
Idiots will be idiots. I blame the people who consistently exploit idiots. If there's a drug epidemic (and Call of Duty has become like crack in the eighties), whose to blame? The addict or the dealer?
Every game nowadays has planned DLC. Whether they cut it from the final game or not is irrelevant.
Blame Activision and/or Call of Duty.
So you're going to compare sales of a game that was out for 13 days to games that were out months earlier? One of which is packaged with the peripheral? Wow...
Sony's strength right now is choice. Instead of having one title that everyone is expected to buy, Sony has A LOT of options. I don't play Gran Turismo or Little Big Planet, but I'm looking forward to at least 6 other exclusives alone this year, not including the bunch of third party titles coming out. ...
It's another symptom of what's ruining this industry. A solid game that is innovative, fun, and a lot of people like gets shafted by publishers because it didn't make them a billion dollars. They forget it took Call of Duty four games to become a sales juggernaut.
In the 13 days Little Big Planet 2 was on sale in North America, it sold 353,000 copies. So I guess its a total failure then...
Single player has become just a preview for the multiplayer. Out of all the people I know who bought Black Ops, I'm the only one who actually played the campaign. But I bet if they removed a single player campaign from the next CoD, people would be outraged.
People attack him for being the reason OtherOS was removed in the 1st place...
People attack him for piggybacking on other hackers's work and posting the root keys online, dragging them down with him...
People attack him for being so arrogant in thinking that he's untouchable...
People attack him for pretending to be an innocent in this whole thing when his work opens the door wide open for piracy...
People attack hi...
Third party publishers are the ones that are pushing for constant DLC now (thanks CoD). And while the Wii does have a lot of high selling games, most of their sales come from being packaged with the system.
But I digress. You don't have to buy DLC and it's a way for companies to make some money from the used market. It sucks for people that bought the game day one but its a steal if you bought the game used for $20.
