Paintings (still pictures/photos) of art are one thing but moving visual medium are a totally different thing. You don't play art, art is a part of the esthetics (color palette, background set pieces etc.) of the visual moving medium.

No I haven't at all. I've actually used an Athlon x2 dual core as well as a single core Athlon, without any issues. I did have a couple of wierd bugs with version 1.4, but those were bad motherboard capacitors & bad memory problems, basically hardware issues.
I haven't experienced any issues (bugs) at all, software wise. Any issues I've had with pfSense have been hardware problems.
It's rock solid and I've been using it since 1.0...

As an IT professional, I prefer to have everything optimal. I have every room wired with cat6 cable (2 drops in most rooms). I use an old dual-core (2GB RAM) HP mini desktop, with pfSense 2.1.4 as my router. It has the best performance & security, than any consumer router on the market. Although, most of what you said is mainly correct. You, as an Intel/Nvidia user should be on hands a knees thanking AMD for purchasing ATI and helping them out of debt! Without them in the game, you would be paying double for your cpu's/gpu's from "the best" as you put it.
I use both, but without the likes of AMD, many of my customers wouldn't be able to afford a low to medium gaming riggs at a reasonable cost.

I find I am distancing myself from many forms of this type of media, because it's just getting to be too much. Society is being bombarded with it.

In this day & age, if you can't watch a 20 minute step-by-step how to video on youtube to build you own rigg, and would rather pay a very high premium for a so called "easily upgradable PC", you deserve the headaches that comes with proprietary formats like this.
What they don't mention to the unsuspecting PC layman, is the the software end of this new format. Where changing say... your video card requires you to remove the old drivers & software bef...
Give me the old games that did not require the publishers servers, but anyone with a decent server & internet connection could host a game server.
