WOW it's hilarious to see these M$ fanatics fiercely defending an OS as if their life depended on it. Why do individuals with absolutely no association to the company, fight tooth & nail for an inanimate object. The ironic thing is they will never change the minds of the critics that criticize the OS... LOL! Who cares...

Personally, I don't trust M$ as far as I throw them... I've watched M$'s history over the years and they've been trying to monopolize...

LOL! Very observant sjaakiejj... ohh the irony!

"Linux holds less than 1%"... please provide proof sir. I love people that pull numbers out of thin air and those that find some form of out dated data. There's really no way for anyone to actually get accurate numbers on linux use worldwide, period!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; f...

The real problem is gaming is saturated with mediocre games. The influx of mediocre games began when consoles became too popular and publishers bought up 90% of indie developers, then stole their IP's and bled them dry!

True gaming died when, games started being made for profit and not for the love of gaming!

Thanks for the kind words! When I logged into the site & saw my message icon light up, I thought "he we go again, more hateful messages, because I keeps it real". Thanks again for the wonderful surprise!

You know what's even more interesting about humans refusing to think of death? People will research like crazy, before going on vacation, research before buying a game or going to a movie or play, they will most definitely research before buying a house or c...

@MariaHelFutura
That saying is straight out of Alister Crowley's satanic The Book of the Law and Anton Levey's Satanic Bible!

And, because of people "doing what they will & what makes them feel good", other people are killed & hurt.

Societies moral fibre has almost totally disintegrated causing people lie, cheat & steal, all in the name of "doing what makes you feel good".

The thing is, most tha...

"Which is all about realism, immersion & fast paced action"

LOL! How can he put the words "realism" & "fast paced action" together to describe this game? Yep, just more PR double talk to me, I played the game and there's nothing real about it. The game is father the from realism, but it is closer to a Micheal Bay movie.

This is modern gaming journalism at it's best!
/sarcasm

Granted, I was an early adopter of Dayz when it was first released. It was fun & interesting and interaction with random players was at that time kinda cool, because more than not players would be considerately friendly enough, even if they didn't want to team up.

However, now the game has turned into a pvp death match, with zombie becoming more of an annoyance, than a main aspect of...

It's cool that it's not your kind of game.

Personally, I can't wait for the under water combat, finally something original in a shooter/milsim.

I also can't wait for all the creative free mods, from the modding community.

And this is the reason why we have tons of simplified games that have this crazy amount of "accessibility" in them. Most shooters/adventure games are usually under 10 hours.

Challenging games are far & few between these days, the majority of players seem to want everything to be easy. They don't know the word trial & error.

Long gone are the days, when it took you almost a week to get through one level of a shooter/adventure game.

I'm right there with you, the game to me seemed to remove many choices, in SP you seem to only have 2 choices (silent or loud) and only one way to advance forward to the next situation. Like most shooters you're pushed through a funnel down the small path.

The most brilliant example that distances itself from this formula and a delight to play was R*'s Red Dead Redemption, that game was a breath of fresh air! You could approach any situation from any angle at anyt...

I'm truly glad that you enjoyed the SP, it sounds like you really had a great experience.

Personally I haven't played the SP game but I have watched about 4 full missions. To me the gameplay looks interesting but very simplistic. I like a more challenging experience and something a bit different from the linear Micheal Bay type of experiences that are so common in SP shooters. I like something a little more open world with more choices & planning, something differ...

WOW... I suggest looking at the GRFS forums before purchasing, there are a tons of issues with the game (especially for the PS3).

I can't believe what people are willing to put up with these days, this game just doesn't have lasting appeal.

I played the beta and liked the gameplay but disliked all the intel nonsense, there's just too much of it, the game is even easier to play than COD.

All you have to do is throw sensors & ua...

Right you are, I have 2 PS3's and I find that I barely use them for gaming anymore. I only ever use them for streaming movies/tv shows/videos from my linux media server.

However, I've gotten back into pc gaming bigtime, I built a highend pc May 2011 for BF3 & haven't looked back.

Games are so much more challenging on pc and the crappy accessibility games that are released on the pc usually get fixed by the modders with hardcore versions & ...
