It's sad that gamers are so shallow that an otherwise (potentially) great game with an interesting story presentation and what looks like fun gameplay is going to be overshadowed by this nonsense. So the game is upscaled? Why is that a bad thing? It still looks great. Still looks next gen. And, as long as the game doesn't look like crap or have graphical glitches, graphics are the LEAST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF A VIDEO GAME. People need to grow up.
Way to overreact. And people say gamers aren't entitled, immature brats.
Sounds interesting, but I'm pretty disappointed that there won't be any Batfam stuff. Hopefully this will be set in the real DC universe, and not that god awful reboot one.
Not really a fan of Angry Joe, but yeah The Division is an overrated pile of trash. It's this year's Witcher 3 so far.
This seems like it could be really interesting. Hopefuly it's not too ambitious for one guy to pull off.
Does it honestly matter? I mean, even to graphics whores. Is anyone actually interested in this game mostly because of how it looks? Isn't it the story and the time powers we're all interested in?
And?
Did they have strippers come out during any of their speeches or panels? No? Then it's not unprofessional.
You can tell whoever wrote this is more butthurt about the "boys only" bit than the strippers.
Oh. My god. If that's actually real then Nintendo is screwed. The Wii U gamepad is bad enough, but this.... Jesus. Aside from looking incredibly stupid, it's carpal tunnel waiting to happen. Remember the Boomerang? This looks more uncomfortable to hold than the Boomerang.
Because I don't play games for a social experience. I play games mostly to experience an interactive story, and partly to do things I could never do in real life, like sneak into a guarded facility and stab everyone inside without getting caught. The narratives in online games are generally terrible, unless they're The Old Republic.
Only because gamers feel like they need 60+ hours of content to justify full price games, even though they were more than happy to shell out $60 last gen for non-open world games. Most open world games are only so long because they're packed with filler material and busywork. It's very rare that an open world game actually uses its open world to enhance the story or the gameplay, and it's even rarer when an open world game can properly pull off a decently paced, well written narra...
I'm not sure I see it. His facial expressions always make him look slightly bewildered, not really very Geralt-like. Mads Mikkelson might be better, but he looks too suave. I dunno. It's a video game movie so chances are it'll be okay at best no matter who plays anyone.
More or less correct. I'd knock the narrative for being bland and filled with terrible Ubisoft writing, but otherwise the review echoes my experience and thoughts about the game. I think it tried to do too many different things and ended up not doing any of them well. Thank god for rentals.
I couldn't care less about esports but it's never a bad thing to make a console more user friendly for developers.
God forbid a bad guy character say anything that sounds like something a BLM "activist" might say, right? Because we all know that white cops are always the bad guys and black people calling for white cops to be murdered are always the good guys...
Honestly, if Ubisoft was actually trying to draw a parallel, then good for them for trying for some social commentary that isn't SJW approved.
Gotta love a dev/publisher that shows confidence in a new IP beyond the usual "this will be the best game you play all year look how many E3 awards our extremely out of date demo build got last year!" hype.
Coming from someone who played it for four hours and then watched his boyfriend play it on and off for the next few days, actually. But nice assumption. Must suck being so insecure in your gaming purchases.
I have no idea why. It's a pretty terrible game, even worse than Destiny.
This game looks great. I backed it at one of the higher physical reward tiers and I can't wait for it to come out.
A third person Crusader Kings RPG where you start out as a baron and have to use political alliances and assassinations to become king.
Hey, I can dream.
Honestly it's most likely Pillars of Eternity 2 or something.
This game is incredibly boring to play on your own. The narrative is bland and generic, ditto for the characters, and the bullet sponge enemies are annoying. And that's not even getting into all the missions where they pair you with random people and it turns into everyone racing through the level as fast as they can.
