Stupid article. Video game consoles can't survive on being "just video game consoles" anymore. People expect more, especially from something like this that tries to be a video game console, a handheld console, and a mobile device--three things which everyone expects to have internet access and basic app support.
Screw the ESRB. It's an utterly unnecessary organization.
But you don't know. Any of those games can get canceled or delayed or be in development hell for an entire console generation. There's no limit to how far out a game will come out after release, and until there is no one can ever know when or if anything that's announced will come out.
Less than a year, IMO. Ideally, that would be the target for every single game announcement, early access or no; don't announce games unless you're pretty damn sure the full version will be out in a year.
Not only that, they announce games way too early just to get the hype train rolling, and then you're sometimes waiting three or four or even ten years for a game to come out. Which is ridiculous.
Lame. Censoring games is never good. If I get this it'll have to be on PC I guess.
The outrage was real, I just didn't realize DA:I had a cutoff as well. I'd been planning on playing the game two hours at a time until release day, like I did with Inquisition, and I was mad because I thought I'd get to the cutoff before Tuesday, which would make me even more impatient to play the game. But if Inquisition had a cutoff and I got 9 and 1/2 hours out of that, Andromeda should be good too.
This...this is a teaser for the actual gameplay reveal. What...what were you expecting? Is this the first teaser you've ever seen, or...?
Really? What was that point? I played Inquisition almost until the end of the 10 hours and I never hit a dead end.
Spoilers can easily be avoided. I shouldn't be limited in what I can do in a trail I pay 30 dollars a year for just because some people can't keep themselves from getting spoiled.
How many basic features can one console be missing?
People were saying the same things about Playstation VR the week it came out. Let's wait to see if this thing has any legs before saying it's the best thing ever, kay?
Utter BS. There's never been an SP limit to the EA Access trial before and there's no reason to do it now. Terrible decision.
This thing keeps sounding better all the time. I just hope it can live up to its potential.
There is no such thing as "cultural appropriation". It's just another made up thing so SJWs can pretend oppression still exists in the western world.
AGREED. That fight with the Peerless is the most boring combat related thing I've ever done in a video game. The rest is amazing, though.
Pretty much what I expected, then. I haven't bought a Nintendo console at launch since the GameCube, and that's definitely not gonna change this time. Maybe in a few months it'll be worth a look.
This. VR is pretty pointless for gaming, but the headsets are still so expensive that gaming is really the only way to market it as worth the price.
@Articuno76
You forgot the part where the Wii ports were always the worst version of the game, and how developers were forced to make their ports "original" because of the Wiimote. That isn't innovation, that's forcing devs to adopt a gimmick their games were never designed for. If Nintendo came out with a console that was as powerful or more powerful than a PS4, with good online infrastructure, no region lock, an online storefront that doesn't lock p...
Whatever gender a character is, making them a good, compelling character should be the first focus, not ticking off boxes on a diversity checklist.
