It's asking us to buy an underpowered system with shaky third party support and the only big name game it has at launch is a port of a Zelda game they've been promising for years. Yeah, it has Mario and Splatoon and Xenoblade later this year, but the Wii U had all that too and it still got no third party support and a bunch of first party games no one wanted. The Switch needs to differentiate itself from the Wii U, and a thin launch line up doesn't help with that at all. Compare t...
Yeah it doesn't take much power to render anime sprites.
It better at least be able to be plugged in, since I was promised that all my X1 accessories would be compatible with the Scorpio.
Good. My supply of weeb tears is running low.
No, too many people would have taken it as an admission that the Xbox One was a failure and it would be seen as a rushed console. Also, if it was a true next gen console (meaning no BC, no compatible accessories, etc) very few people would want to invest in it. As much as I hate the idea of consoles turning into PCs, this was the best way to get a more powerful console out there.
No, it's my least favorite after U3, meaning U3 is my least favorite. My favorites are 2, 1, 4, 3.
Meh, my second least favorite Uncharted game after 3; although I actually managed to finish 3. Doom was much better, IMO. But GOTY's are pointless anyway. Everyone has a different favorite, as they should.
But then how will they make us buy Super Mario Bros for the 78th time?
I would read the article and comment but it has one of those stupid "hur dur you have ad blocker pay us money or turn it off or you can't read our stuff" pop ups so never mind.
I will be a Head Professional ;)
Also, JFC people, casual obviously refers to your character's attitude, not the game. The Me series has never been a "dudebro shooter". It's always been a WRPG. Making it so you don't have to wade through crowded inventory doesn't mean the game went "casual" after ME1.
Yep. A Zelda-like game, or even a straight up Zelda game, with a female protagonist could be cool. But not a female Link.
Ten hours is perfect for a horror game. The worst part about Alien: Isolation was how it kept throwing more gameplay at you every time it hit a logical conclusion point. By the end, it was a total chore to finish and I just wanted it to end and I'll never play it again, no matter how much I had fun with the first ten hours or so. Shorter games encourage replayability. Not every game needs to be The Witcher 3 or Skyrim.
The positives: It'll be even cheaper in 2 years when the most of the best games they showed off get released.
^^^^
This. They very clearly state that MP won't affect the story the way it did in ME3. This is why commenting on headlines is stupid. It makes people look like idiots.
Good news! He's said several times that this is one of his goals. Being a fully functioning human being Phil, along with everyone else that works for Xbox, is able to hold more than one desire and thought in his head at one time, so many different goals can be set and met simultaneously.
My favorite part of The Odyssey is when Odysseus goes to the real world to save Princess Peach from Bowser.
Is "Universe" some kind of new slang for "Development"?
Then that's when I'll be getting a Switch, thanks for saving me some money this year, Reggie!
Which is why EA has committed to all of one FIFA port coming out on the system so far. Yep. I can see that you have such faith in Nintendo.
