is this a pay to win mmo? I see it's free on xb1 but I'm skeptical to start investing time.
Did it work? Did your comment succeed in making you feel better about your purchasing decision?
They have so much work to do selling a sequel... No matter what they show initially gameplay wise will be met with 100% scrutiny and doubt. Downgrade jokes will run amuck. Not to mention they have an uphill battle trying to distance themselves from GTA anyway. Good luck Ubisoft but this game needs more of an identity other than 'press square to hack'.
Edit: Oh, who am I kidding? First one sold like crazy and adding a '2' at the end will only sell more. I don&...
Absolutely love the customization options in this game that I've seen. So rare for a console game.
It still says a lot they're skipping an Xbox One version ANYWHERE, regardless of where. It's not like it's some obscure japanese game. It's Far Cry. Downplay it all you want but it's kind of a big deal, regardless.
I'm almost 2 hours in and am loving every second. Really drives home how much I like 60fps on shooters. I'm at the point that even with the sacrifices that are made to hit 60fps, It's totally worth it to me. I wish other franchises would go 60fps.
so ps4 version is 1080p vs. 900p on xb1. And ps4 averages between 5-10 fps more than xb1. That's a KO for PS4. Here's hoping for XB1's sake that DX12 does all that fans are assuming it'll do.
Turn 10 has a task ahead of them with Forza 6. Day/Night cycles are expected now, as well as weather. And Forza 5 was 1080p. We've seen that day/night & weather aren't achievable on current hardware while still hitting 60fps (not even on ps4) so what does Turn...
What would we be funding? A larger dev team so we won't have to wait years and years for a racing sim with less than 1/4 of the cars of forza? I mean Driveclub, an arcade racer, has more cars (and more detailed cars) than this racing sim that's taken even longer to develop.
12 = 4 locations with 3 variants of each.
This needs to happen ASAP. How this wasn't EA's first order of business with the Star Wars license is beyond me.
Can't we let RS do a new IP that's not batman? Personally I'm played out of the batman universe.
wh...why not ps4? Come on. Waste.
If the devs will take advantage of it we could see the PC separate from consoles like back in the 90's. But... it's just a big IF. If it's all about 'creating the same experience across the board' as it is now, dx12 means little.
Of course he will be... he's the central character in every RS batman game. It's like he's the only true rival to Batman according to them. The rest of batman's foes are nothing more than a boss you fight after a few missions pertaining to them, no biggy.
As someone in another post pointed out... The original game's first trailer wasn't lacking in violence.

Edit: that's actually the ps2 version
bring on the mods. That's all.
Ill believe it when games look and run at the same resolutions and frame rate. And just because the tech exists to enhance games off the cloud doesn't mean it'll ever happen.
For them to fix the PS store so it'll load. I swear it works fine when I boot up the ps4, then after I play a game or something.... nothing comes up. Been that way for months.
Here's the thing... the reality is the Joe Montana game could be the greatest pure football game ever and it will still flop. Don't undermine the importance of the NFL license. Plus it being an XB1 exclusive, it has an uphill battle from day one.
Come on... it's a great feature and a welcome one, but stop trying to connect dots. Has nothing to do with DX12. It's not going to magically make everything 60fps like you're suggesting.
