Right but... if it's canceled for PS3/360 then why wouldn't it be canceled on Wii U then? How can anyone expect the Wii U version to somehow be an exception? If it was selling like hotcakes maybe, but hell it's struggling to keep pace with PS3 week-to-week. So... yes, Nintendo is partially to blame because they're the ones that chose to release their new gen system so completely underpowered that it cannot handle today's demanding games. If you make a system on par with ps...
How would they be in position to kick butt? Wii U was arguably slightly more powerful than PS3/360 and released before last gen was over and it flopped. Why would N releasing a newer, possibly slightly more powerful box than ps4/one be ANY different in a year or two? Either it'll be of equal power to PS4/XBO (and yet still years behind in online functionality and also starting with zero install base compared to competition) or it'll be far more powerful -- but to a fault since Devs wo...
This has to be the most fragmented game ever, I swear.
Disappointed personally. MGS is basically a staple for many PS gamers so releasing it free after all this time really isn't catering to the core fan base much. Rather just people who probably never played metal gear games (and thus likely won't care much). PS Plus just isn't doing much for me the past year.
Great points. I also wonder off the top of my head what percentage increase would it be to take a lot of these 900p games and make them 1080p? wouldn't that fall into the 10-30% range? (I have no idea)
Ah, this is what I was recalling. It's not the actual Windows 10 kernel.
"I know a lot of people are excited about things like Cortana and other features they see on Windows 10. Obviously getting on the Windows 10 kernel -- well, it's not really the kernel -- but Windows 10 OS inside of Xbox One is an important first step to unlock a lot of what [Microsoft's Joe Belfiore] showed."

didn't I hear Phil Spencer say that XBO won't actually be getting "Windows 10 on Xbox One"?
always good news that these unannounced games are already ready to show behind closed doors. I'd rather games be announced later, closer to release than announced 4 years before they see the light of day.
I guess it just depends on if and how the engine can utilize dx12 but if he's saying 30-40% boost on XBO then that's beyond significant. Can only imagine an engine built from the ground up for DX12.
Definitely looks new-gen. Just wished it had the content and replayability to go along with it :/
Where's the preorder bonus of "if you preorder the game, you get the whole game"
I want that one.
I predict a reboot of Dead Space. Called Dead Space. Because EA. (half-joking)
I really do think we'll see a new DS game though. Probably all new characters.
I'm not really expecting big shockers from sony this E3. I think they'll play it safe given their lead. Show some Uncharted 4 new gameplay, announce GOW4, GT7 officially and some indies. Then the rest will be morpheus. I'll be happy if I'm wrong though.
FM5 was a bit of a let down to me overall but I give it some slack for being a launch title. I expect great things from FM6.
This is my point. Right now they're saying the port on Wii U is at 23fps @ 720p. Yet they scrapped ps3/360 dev because the hardware was limiting?
just sell off the metal gear franchise, please. I don't want whatever mobile crap you're going to try push our way.
Is there honestly a demand for a Wii U version or was this simply a bullet point in what they promised if their KS was funded?

Can someone explain why they're bothering with a Wii U version and not just doing a PS3/360 version while they're at it? I mean it'd make sense for a ROI and stuff.
I love they're working on a new controller (presumably for hardcore gamers). There's a lot right and a lot wrong with the current one and it's nice to see them taking on a new one, just like they did with the original Xbox and it's S controller vs. The Duke.
